What must I do to get the $199.99 one time fee option?

VarkingVarking Member UncommonPosts: 542

I don't want to install the game just yet until I figure out how to access the lifetime fee option. Is it just I need to be referred by a lifetime founder? When my 30 free days are up ( I purchased the MoM CE ) will there be an option to do it? Sorry for the noob style question but I tried to ask in another thread what had to be done in order to access it but unfortunately the OP got the thread removed and I never got an answer. Thank you in advance for any information that is posted.

IIRC, when you create your account they give you the option for monthly, semi-annual, annual or lifetime payment plans.

Sig so that badges don't eat my posts.

it should have been an option when u setup ur billing, whether u have 30 days free, it should still ask u for billing when u  create ur account, did u puch in ur product key?

Sign up for an account and when it asks for payment choose the lifetime option!  Its at $299.99 atm though, so I think you'd need to get an invite from a founder for the lower cost, though I don't know if founders can get it at $199.99 currently.

Nope, haven't done anything yet other than open the box. I just wanted to find out in advance. I don't get payed until this Friday so I wanted to find out beforehand what I needed to do. I thought, as you both said, there would be an option available right at the start, but in another thread somebody had posted they never saw the option and thus I was confused. Thank you both very much for the responses, it was much appreciated!

As far as I was aware, the founders were only given the option of the $199 lifetime sub once, when the game first went live for about a period of a month. Wasn't aware there was any other way to get it after that. I'm kinda sad I lost my founders monthly discount as well when I unsubbed for a bit but I knew that was going to happen.

Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

Ahh, so I do not need my friend to refer me on her lifetime founder account since I purchased the Mines of Moria CE to get the $199.99. I would check myself but don't want to punch in my product key until I get payed on Friday so I know I have the money on my card for it.

Hmm i'm not sure that offer is available all the time. It was for the anniversary last year and i know some mom versions offer it.

One advice hurry before its gone.

I'm almost pretty sure founders referalls always have the option of founders pricing, 199 or 9.99 a month.

If anyone has one I would greatly appreciate a founders referall. I am looking to start playing tonight as soon as I get off from work. varking@gmail.com is my email if anyone is kind enough to help out. If not I am sure my friend will do it for me when she gets back from vacation in a few nights.
