    Which screen did you look at? The screen I posted is at 1440x900 and the bar is not that big. Only slightly taller than the normal previous taskbars.

    And yes, the taskbar is resizable by choosing "smaller icons".

    It is a beta version, yes. If you are not an official beta tester, you won't have an activation key and will have the standard "30 days to activate" and then it will lock you out.

    Thanks for the links Zorvan.  I've been using Server 2008 as a workstation for a while now, and was just thinking of checking-out the Win7 beta.
