Its not really all that fun anymore for me. I been back in uo for about 4 months with a new account.  Was gone for over a year.   Already have 13 million gold and a tamer/bard with all skills at 110.  It has gotten old real fast.. Ain't like it used to be where it could hook a person for a few years

If you have never played before.. It may be a game to tide you over for quiet some time

Try the shard Siege, download the trial and go to a regular server then say "i revoke my young player status"

Then you get access to Siege, which is a lot funner for pvp and and killing monsters since you have the ability to actually die and lose your stuff. losing your equip may sound horrible, but really a suit of armour can be free, for low resists, or 800 gp for a set of barbed. Two monsters can easily give you 1000gp, and only take 1 min each at most..

Give it a try, its worth your time

I think any online game is what you make of it. I also think it's only as good as the people you play with. I am not into PVP so if PVP dies or is dead it's not a big deal for me. I like how UO is skill based not level based, the crafting is simple enough as well. It's not fancy looking and the graphics are not what most online games look like.
