How is the population now? last time i played was back in may..i had no problems finding groups on my lvl 18..would it sitll be the same for that lvl? easy to find groups?

Starting areas are well populated, seems like Moria brought in quite a bit of new people (myself included). I havent had any problems finding people for the low level group quests.

Pop is great right now.  It's super easy to find groups in the lower levels, you don't even have to be lookin.

I am on Silverlode  which is supposed to be a low pop server and decided to play my little lv 1 Runekeeper past the newbie ( lvl 1 -6) instanced area cause I need to use him as a mule and was surprised to encounter 5 or 6 other newbies in the starter instance and several more around Guilliond ( sp?) once I exited out into the main world.

Just judging from that I would have to say the population is pretty damed good  at low levels for a game a year and a half old. If anyone is on the fence about LoTRO right now is a perfect time to start fresh.

 I just went back recently and plan on staying for quite some time. I expected at least the lower level areas to be kind of sparse, but I was quite wrong. I play on Elendilmir and there's people all over the place! It's actually at that nice medium where it's not barren, but it's not massively overpopulated like at launch where you've got six people fighting over one crafting spawn. If player housing  is any indication, population is doing just fine considering how many housing instances are full up in the elven district alone. But yeah, I wouldn't say population is a concern at all.

I am on Brandywine and from lv 1 to 22 (current lv) I see people everywhere I go.  I have never had trouble finding a group for any of the fellowship quests.
