Played for 2 days and got to level 8, then gave the account to my 11 year old cousin who got him to level 15. Which is pretty good for someone who's 11. Unfortunatley it's nowhere near the higher level characters lol.

I cant log in to the stress test forums anymore. So im guessing they deleted allt he accounts who didnt move on? If so, try logging in there. If you can, you proly got in.
I know i didnt get in. 22 rogue. Ran into at least 10 other rogues on Horde who were higher on my server.
I played around with lots of different characters and my highest was a 17 warrior (he was one of the first to get past level 15+ though after 2 days). I knew I probably couldn't keep up with all those powergamers and whatnot but atleast I had tons of fun experimenting with different combos and exploring.
Also staying around at the lower levels still leaves about 90% of the game left to be explored at retail.
one thing that really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 amazed me is on allience side i saw these 2 lvl 39 mage lvl 40 rogue wow rogue told me he almost got a mount also only 10 more gold hehe pretty good in 10.5 days

Pretty good, I played extensively i.e almost power gaming for 7 out of the 10 days (i had work and other things during the other days), and i only got to lvl 20. Assuming if id played all out i couldve perhaps got to lvl 27 ish. But these guys are lvl 40!!!.
They prob worked themselves to death . I bet they didnt really enjoy it, the only thing that made them play was the reward .

I got to 30 warrior. I know there were like 8 others higher than me including a level 40 that I never saw offline. I played alot but I would log for a few hours here and there for time with wife and he would still be on. I wish I could have played 48 hour marathons but I would have come to hate the game. I set my goal finally at just getting 30 before the test was over
Well I didnt feel like competing in the competition anyways cuz powerlvling just ruins the game. You get done with everything so fast you get bored with the game even faster.... All these lvl 40s who get into closed beta are gonna be bored with the game come retail. I for one just took the time to play every class to see which was the best for me. If I wanted to grind out lvls and be in that competition I would probabaly be lvl 40 also but I chose not to Id rather wait till open beta to continue playing. No sense going thru every area in a matter of weeks when it should take you a month or so of casual playing. Id rather enjoy myself then be boring powerlvling just to get into the beta.
I agree. I actually probably won't even play the Open Beta now since I was able to get in and have a taste. I played with making a few chars instead of one.
Level 14 Rouge, Level 10 Warlock, Level 10 Mage, Level 7 Priest and like a Level 3 Warrior. I usually play Warrior types in these things but I was surprised at how much fun the Warlock and Mage was.
Ill play OB, but just to try out the other races/zones.
As for the contest, its preety much BS. Nothing more needs to be said.

Problem is most of the really high lvl guys exploited the dmg shield bug. Which is why there was so much complaining about it. They could walk into a grp of like 5 mobs there lvl and kill al of them just by getting hit.
Highest I got was a 17 warlock, no way in hell I got in.

lol i made a tauren druid got to level 11 then stopped leveling and just pvp'd. Then i made a NE rogue, got to level 12 stopped leveling and just pvp'd. My tauren had -25000 xp and my rogue had -76000 xp lol.
I knew a couple really high level people. I was in a pvp group with a 37 hunter and we had fun killing the horde in razor hill for hours. Then i was in another pvp group with a 40 NE rogue and a 40 gnome mage we attacked crossroads for hours and had a lot of fun they both had mounts too. My favorite part was just taking just 1 group and then taking over an area outside of a town and defending it from the horde that came out of the town. I was always just the guy to lure them in and get them to go red named so that the high levels could jump out of the mountain they were hiding in and kill em, but it was fun.
I do always say taste the rainbow but i always sift through my bag o' skittles to get to the white ones.
Not a chance, I only made it to 21 on my Shaman, and I saw some in their 30's on the last day of the Stress test, helping defend the crossroads from raiding Alliance members. I was sad to find out about the contest after I had already started two other characters, so I was way behind by the time I knew there was a competition. But, I did enjoy trying out almost all the different classes, trying to get a feel for what I liked and didn't like. The only one I didn't make was a Hunter, but I'll try that in Open Beta. I really want to play a Rogue when they implement all the skills and talents. During Stress Test, poisons weren't working, but I think that Rogues will be the one of the nastier classes in the game once they're finished.
I just hope they flesh that game out a LOT more, I could see it becoming another blah grindfest without some more content. Nice thing about the RTS version is the fear of a constant antagonist always imposing their will upon your main character, like the Burning Legion, but that was lacking from the MMORPG version, and only smaller versions could be found in certain quests, but they didn't pose a global threat. I hope that this is something Blizzard has in development right now. Other than that, I did have a good time during Stress Test, and I hope my feelings bcome more positive about it during Open Beta... I've had the damn thing on Pre-Order for months.

I made it to 34, which made me the #3 Paladin on my server. Would have been #1, but I started slacking wed. thinking the contest would end the next day at noon, and another Paladin abused the hell out of a bugged item, and took the number one spot.
Haven't gotten any notification yet, but that's ok, cuase I'm having fun playing that 'other' game at the moment.
