WoW destroyed the MMO market, has absolutely no unique features, and their fanboys are the most annoying people I've ever had to deal with. Oh yes, much WoW hate.
Whats funny is before wow came out the market was dying you should be gratefull they saved the genre. oh ill admit most fanbois are annoying but they are no where near as annoying as people that complain and argue with them aka you

Wondering if MMORPG.com really is composed of mostly WoW haters.
Rumor: MMORPG.com is known to be a haven for people looking for other MMOs other than WoW. My Hypothesis: Majority of users/forum-posters here aren't WoW fans, because this site covers almost all MMOs and WoW is only one MMO out of the hundreds here. Thus, it's like a natural thing for MMO players to hate WoW if they love the current MMO they're playing because WoW is getting all the money and praise (from critics).
It's just a poll. Don't explode over this, okay?
That's an impressive approach. You only needed more options in your poll, but I totally dig someone going the scientific direction.
My answer is similar others here. I can't necessarily say that I hate it, but I definitely don't love it.
The MMORPG frame work in general has me completely burned out. Also, they tend to be too violence oriented. It's always kill-kill-kill. You ever notice that? Hmm.
Anyway, I digress. WoW is fun for what it is, but equally as shallow as all other MMOs.
I don't love or hate it. It's more like meh for me. Not my taste. I like DAoC and pvp games more. No matter what people tell you, they cannot deny that Blizzard (as a company) has had to do something right, or else they would not have such a large player-base. If I was a carebear, then I would love WoW. I voted love it, only because the private servers (free ones) are fun to play. No sitting in a dungeon for 10 months to get gear
I enjoyed it back in the day (pre-TBC), haven't played it for over two years now, so doubt I have much of an opinion on the game as it stands today.
I won't play it anymore due to its fundamental design, level based, quest driven pve and pvp with no real risk and reward. (and I just don't have time for raiding anymore) Those elements never will change, therefore it isn't for me.
Still a good game though, just depends what you are looking for.

im actualy glad you didnt add a neutral option because who really cares about neutral people. plus the love and hate is about 50/50 on the poll as of now which is hilarious.

I wonder how many of those guys stating they "hate it" ever played the real Wow.I think most played a bit on private server with 10.000 Gold to start and full epic gear and then come here to use the word "carebear".
Still the game must be excellent because even on this site it gets 51% love.

Because you might just find out, that at least on this site, the neutrals are the greatest number by far, we really just don't care about WOW much either way anymore.

i just can't simply say whether i like or hate it, after a long time playing, i got somewhat tired of it.
I liked it until endgame, raiding just isn't for me. My time in WoW was fun, but I quit and moved on.
Playing - FFXIV, ESO
Played - FFXI, WoW, Lineage 2, Guild Wars, Aion, SWToR, LotRO, GW2, TERA, Rift, ArcheAge, TSW
Hate and Love are one, the same. You can not hate anything without loving it. It seems like a contradiction, but life is full of paradoxes.
Have you thought about why most people always have the most fights with their family members. You guessed it, cos they love them so much.
WoW its so overrated

I like it. For me it feels more like an actual game than a second job. And who wants a second job after 10 hours of "REAL" work. Not me.

i payed for it, i played it, i hate it.
I play it, but I don't _love_ it. I honestly just wait for next big thing. I don't enjoy playing wow anymore.
