Hi, im new to mmorpg and just wanted to say hello. Brief introduction... i have played Conquer online for several years, and have played cabal since ob in febuary 08. I play COD5 on ps3 and a few others. Just looking to broaden my horizons on the mmorpg community.

I honestly would not blame her if she did say she was leaving. As it stands now there's very little of interest for myself. I'd assume that Teala has been playing MMO's for a long time and is more then likely in the same boat as I am.
Oh and to the OP:

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

Truth is...
The magic died with NGE didn't it. I never found an MMO to even touch it. SL matched the social aspect, but no game since has matched the overall vibe.
May the sandbox find it's revival some day. ...and Teala, you're always a jewel in any MMO.

Any of you folks who plan on quitting MMOs thinking of trying Darkfall? I know there's not much middle ground on this game. It's either being talked up big or torn down bad. Not sure which one it's going to be, but I am planning on trying it. Don't know if it can deliver on all the features it is claiming to offer, but if it does, it sounds like it could be the best MMO ever made. It even promises to have mounted combat, much as Mount & Blade has, Teala.
I dunno man... I've lived on the hype of AoC and WAR and have been severely let down.. especially since I'm quite a fan of Conan. R.E. Howard must be turning over in his grave, hopefully they buried him face down so that he doesn't have to see any of it.
When I first heard of Darkfall I was excited but then the whole production thing started to drag on from year to year and then eventually I just kind of stopped following it. I figure once they have some really tangible stuff that I can check out and some of the game journalists get their chance at a look see I might get excited but as it stands now I'll subscribe to the "I'll believe it when I see it" club.
