Why even whine 8 days before release date?
It's 8 days people, in only 8 days we will see who is right, the fanbois or the vaporware claimers. Unless you just really like the sound of your own voice, I can't see one reason to whine either way until then.

there really is no right or wrong here. Its not going to be the best EVER! But I think those that have wanted and waited for a different PVP/loot mmo will like it. If it launches.

Yea, I guess if I had zero reading skills or was completely blind I would assume that the original post was talking about people whining about system specs, distrubution methods, cost, or billing also.
But, of course, I was obviously talking about the people fighting over whether or not darkfall was actually gonna be released on the 22, and how it's kind of a silly thing to fight over when all you have to do is wait 8 days to see who is right.

Guess what? We are the client base of Darkfall. If Aventurine wants subscribers, then they need to know if they can play their game or if they have to upgrade. We are asking for the same things that EVERY OTHER COMPANY releases so they SELL their game.
I hope you find a quarter.. so you can buy a clue.

Why people even think that this is going to be a problem free launch is beyond me.
My advice to fanbois is:,
breathe deep, relax, this game is going to be excellent 6 months after release. Just like AoC. The first month will be hell. Second month will be boring, third ok, fourth enjoyable, fifth fun, sixth awesome.

Same tired argument by those that want only hype and no critics. 4 years ago it was wait until XX month... Beta will be announced I can feel it. Then 2 years ago it was wait until August, Tasos hinted at beta by summer. Then last year it was wait until end of 2008, they will have to release by then... Now it is wait until the 22nd it will be released.
The simple truth is that none of these periods of time meant anything. They were just used to shut up valid criticism. Where is your post telling fanboys to wait 8 days instead of saying this is the greatest game ever and vote in every way they can to hype it artificially?
There are two sides to this coin. Ignoring one side only defines your agenda. This thread is pointless.

Well, first off, you are not their client right now. You're not even a subscriber or customer. You're a potential customer, at best, and you don't deserve anything more from them than what you are getting right now. They owe you nothing, zilch, nodda.
The only thing you can threaten right now is not to try their free trial they will be having at launch (whenever that is). Heck, at first I thought you might be some troll however I'm beginning to suspect you're some fanboi who has went loopy because you are not able to beta test so you're venting your frustrations out here.
Chill out dude you'll get to play the game when we all get to. I didn't get in beta either and neither did many people here. Patience is a virtue.

You speak as if you are in the know. However, from an ignorant perspective you might have a point. Then, for those of us who do know a little more about things understand these kinda statements from programmers or artists:
"Lead Programmer: Hey, we have to rewrite some of the core server systems because of some critical flaws that popped up with new systems. It'll be faster, but still will take some time, to get these things correct."
"Lead Artist: Hey, we might want to revisit alot of the artwork to improve it and to also optimize it better. It'll take some time but in the long run will improve the game."
"Secretary: Our budget is very limited this year so we won't be able to hire more programmers or artists, we might actually have to cut down on programmers and artists so we don't go bankrupt."
A large company, with more resources, could more easily handle the above problems when they arise. However, Aventurine isn't Turbine or Blizzard or even Funcom. They have a smaller budget, or at least had, a smaller budget up until a few years ago. This means that it takes time and any problems that occurs is multiple times bigger than a company with resources.
