I'm looking for a casual MMO, as real life activities disallow me from staying on the computer for longer than 3 hours max. Just like everyone else here I have played them all.
How good is the PVP content in this game? As a PVP, I do enjoy it a lot.
What is the PVE like... compare it to WoW's PVE since I've played WoW the most, and contrast against it.
Another thing, are there any buddy keys out there? I'd like to try this game first rather than taking the $$$ plunge. Thanks.

I can answer your buddy key question. You don't need one. There's a 14 day trial http://www.codemasters.com/trylotro/ . Give it a go
Well, if I was to take a stab in the dark, with a name like silentkillah I highly doubt you will like the pvp. It's not a pvp game. It has a pvp component but in no way would an avid pvp'er pick LOTRO as his/her pvp game.
the PvE is similiar to wow except that there are epic storylines to follow with some scripting of events, dialogue, etc.
LOTRO is a casual game but it needs to be played casually (in my opinion) to enjoy it. A similiar question was asked on the main forums where the person then said that he likes to rush to max level as soon as possible.
That in and of itself pretty much mitigates most of LOTRO's gameplay. It's not really an "end game" type of game though there are things to do such as monster play (pvp) some raiding, crafting, etc.

I play casually as I have found most others do too.
It's a game for people to just have fun, explore, do some gathering/crafting, do some quests while exploring, do some fishing, play some music, enjoy talking to your Kinship or just other players in general, maybe do some PvP from time to time, that's why I love the game so much. It just has a very casual feel.
There aren't a bunch of people constantly raiding, PvP is very minimal, crafting is easy (which makes it fun for me), and there is a lot of exploring to be done.
From my experience with the game, I see the people who enjoy it most are the people who have read the books like myself. If you are looking for some super kick ass and take names game, this is not it. Like I said, it has a very casual feel to it.
