LOTRO down for everyone?  

I don't recall seeing any announcements and I can't find any status.

I also can't reach the LOTRO forums, so I assume it's an unplanned outage.

    I have yet to see an official announcement, but I can't log in either. "The default data center is not available"

    Oh well, I'm sure something went badly, since the forums have been down for an unexpected problem for a little while now.

    Who put their soda on top of the servers!?

    As you might have noticed, my.lotro.com, the forums, and the game have been having some connection issues. We're working as quickly as possible to get everything sorted out and back to normal.

    The Forums, obviously, are back up. We're working on my.lotro.com and the game as we speak. Players currently in the game seem to be able to remain in the game. The login servers are currently the culprit.

    We appreciate your patience while we work through this!

    Thanks for the update.  The forums were not up earlier.  Glad it's only the login servers, sucks for us that are not in, but at least not everyone's put out.

    For anyone considering LOTRO, this is a very infrequent occurrence.  I think maybe twice since I started in July I've not been able to play due to an unexpected outage.
