Old players trial?

Im a little confused as to what I would need to try the new expansion.
I had an old account, and still have the install discs. I cancelled my subscription in June 2008. Do I need a Mines of Moria buddy pass? or is there another option. I just want to try the new classes if possible.
None of the trial info mention old players and there doesnt seem to be anything obviously promoted to allure old players back, special deals etc.

I would imagine that there is going to be a Mines of Moria trial coming soon from Turbine, but that is just speculation.
Right now, the only way to try the new classes is to get a Mines of Moria buddy key from someone who has bought the MoM expansion. The older buddy keys from the original game do not unlock the new classes.
I don't believe there is anyway to try the new classes on a trial. All trials are just SoA. You actually have to upgrade your account to Mines of Moria to play them. (i'm pretty sure, not 100%)
