Why so serious OP? Come to lotro on brandywine. All the starting areas have a great population. It is a great game. Free yourself from the clutches of a bad MMO company. And return to happiness. Turbine actualy cares about their players. More so then any SOE manager or Lucas Arts yuppy milking the Star Wars name. You need a divorce!

I've heard the same things about that game. I'm also of a mind that a divorce is good medicine for a lot of us former SWG players. We may have left the game physically, but still need to leave it emotionally. Even anger can create an unhealthy attachment at some point.
More and more I find myself just popping in here for fun, rather than needing to rant or function as a consumer advocate. I think pretty much everyone knows that SOE sucks now. I feel that my work is done lol .
I still like Jestor's stuff though. Often entertaining and insightful .

Aslong as the cash shops remain like evil boutiques in gaming hell for the trading off of time spent in EQ hell and its 10 million expansions for stealing your parents credit card details, our quest remains!
Aslong as Smedley still holds control over our weak minded breatheren with his mind tricks, forcing them into a virtual slavery that induces them to spend the family grocery money on virtual cards and force them against thier weak wills to come here and state that servers are filling up and the population is rising, Our crusade never ends!

LOTR is a good game with probably the best graphics of any MMO (yes i believe even better than AoC). Ive played it on and off since launch. I cant put my finger on it but its missing something. It doesnt have the hook that SWG did for me
