DAOC Origins: 6 Months of Silence

I just put up a new article about DAOC Origins and the lack of information from Mythic regarding it.   I remember hearing about this from my guildmates 6 months ago and was surprised to find out that Mythic had not only released this, but has remained silent on the matter. 

In an effort to help draw some attention to those of you who have been waiting, I have decided to try to remind Mythic that some information on this project would be greatly appreciated.   Please feel free to pass this article along to any friends and guildmates who have an interest to help get this to the eyes of Mythic.

Ironically, I came to this forum looking for information on this very project.  I recently canceled by WAR account, and am searching for a worthwhile PvP game.  I believe that DAoC prior to the release of ToA was probably the best PvP game I've ever played.  I would love to relive DAoC: Origins.  This is especially highlighted by the stunning failure of WAR to capture the DAoC magic.  Mythic tried to make WAR more like WoW then like DAoC. 

However, I believe the slowdown in the economy and the release of WAR has killed this project.  Mythic is TERRIBLE at providing information, and it doesn't suprise me no word has been given.

RIP DAoC

MJ had this to say on a Warhammer thread on VN forums a few days ago....

"In terms of Origins, I've had no comment on it because I've got nothing to say on it yet. Frankly, I've never had anything to say about Origins so I'm not sure how *I* could hyped it or lied about it."

Typical MJ. Splitting hairs over whether he personally lied about it vs one of the other Mythic staff, instead of actually answering the question.

His evade skills must be way high....
