originally played on Hinde. Not sure which server my toon is now. Any word on server pop -- I am only concerned on the NA servers. Wouldnt mind playing a bit again, but not if the game is deserted. Any feedback would be very much appreciated !!

Hinde merged with gustin to form Phoenix. That is where your character is.
Phoenix is considered one of the more happenign servers now. Makes sense becasue you take one of hte most drama filled and talkative servers and merge it with another drama filled and talkative server and you get a very active community.
Game is not deserted but have realistic expectations. If you are looking for teaming new player areas you won't find that.

my character is lvl 60, so as long as their are a good amount of players post 40 I think I would be fine with that. When I was playing years ago the newbie areas were always deserted.

Heheh having played on Hinde for a while before transferring to Gustin (only to have them merged anyway -facepalm-), I can vouch for that.
The only difference is Hinde was more active and skilled overall in terms of PvP; something some of the big shots on Gustin discovered soon after the merge took place.
To quote one of the leaders of a large Hinde ally when I was chatting with them a little bit after the merge:
Them: "Nightmare was the powerhouse on Gustin?"
Me: "Yep"
Them: "I'm not impressed. They're not very good at PvP."
Fun times...

I must admit that the newbie towns will still seem empty because you can get out of them in about an hour now. If you have a toon on Phoenix then you are on the most populated NA Server. Hope to see you in game.
