Need a buddy key!

Hello I played Vanguard when it first came out and I want to come back. I dont remember my account password or the email I used .

One question I had though is I have the game installed the only thing I need is an account. Can I just upgrade a buddy key to a full acount or do I need an unused CD key.

Install teh game as normal, use the current CD key that you have, you can go to SOE Station page and try to access it, select forgot station password, try every password you can think of until it accepts it, then you got you id's and stuff now, you can just buy a new subscription

 

If thats too much hassle you can jsut start a new SOE account, the CD key was simply used to verify the CD is legit adn since the free month has been used you would need to purchase a new subscription from SOE

But it doesn't make sense. While going through the subscription process it asks to select the game package you want and i can only select Vanguard: Saga of Heroes 39.99. I dont need to buy the game but it wont let me uncheck it.
