Is there any game like the prince of persia games where you can wallwalk and jump around like a anime character while fighting? I know it is far from realistic... But I find it fun to not just select a target, hammer 1-5 on the keyboard and hopefully go away from it alive. ^^ Or a game that has really long range combat, I am talking 2-300 yards range on sniper rifles etc. Origin isn't that important... most if my friends are stuck in wow and find it to be the shit so asian, eu or na doesn't really matter much to me.

Well in the majority of FPS games you can jump around all you want while fighting. I'm not sure of one with a really long range or of any RPG-ish type games like that.

A work in progress: (Update: 08/09/10)Easily find your favorite type of MMO
The only game i can think of is ghost online but that game is nearly dead and the download link doesnt work anymore or so ive heard sorry none other than that come to mind. But for that youd have to be their rogue class and its really animeish so idk really what your looking for theres some others you could probably find but the communitys would probably all be nearly dead and in games with contempary ideas people leave really fast leaving the community low.
If your going to ban the trolls please for our sake ban the Fan Boys too.
Yeah I guess I was abit vague... FPS games are all good, but I was more looking for something that was in the MMO fashion atleast. Where a combat sequence could look something like:
"enemy spots me, enemy charges me, I do a wallwalk past him, make a flip of the wall and does a low to high slash with my sword"
This is ofc just a scenario doesn't need to be exactly the same but that type of combat. I havn't seen any games of that type in MMO fashion but you can always hope right? ^^
World war 2 online?
^ Isnt really acrobatic, but does have long range combat with snipers etc.
Currently restarting World of Warcraft
Closest I've seen in an MMORPG was DDO, they had some nice combat roll, dodge manuevuers

You could always try S4 League. It's a nice game and there's a lot of acrobatic (the most used "pro" technique in Touch Down mode actually). It's also possible to use sniping weapon (Cannonade, Rail Gun). There's also melee weapon, sentries, cool clothes to complete the game.

gunz online
Yeah, Gunz online sounds pretty close to what you're asking for. Its a 3rd person shooter where you can dive around, run along walls and do "Matrix-y" style moves. It has an RPG aspect to it as well. You can gain levels, earn money, and buy new weapons and clothes.
It even has quests if I remember correctly.
Currently on a quest to try every free-to-play MMORPG. Okay, maybe not every single one, but most of them.
not an mmorpg, but mirrors edge is the most acrobatic game out there. its so freaking fun too.
oo I can answer this one
I would say your best bet for a non-RPG MMO is indeed S4 League (or maybe Gunz but I really favour S4 personally).
As for MMOs... my choices for this category would be Phantasy Star Universe at #1 (preferably on 360 or played with a good gamepad), followed by games like Infinity which fall under the category "Online Action RPG".
Obviously Ghost Online and Maple Story are good bets in the 2D MMO field, and Rusty Hearts looks to be incredible when it is actually released!
Unfortunately, most current MMOs are still point and click, and personally I am convinced this must be down to hardware limitations somewhere along the line, as a million companies would have done a fuller combat system like PSU or Infinity has in a full MMO-scale world if it were feasible... surely?
Oh, another one is Rakion If I think of any more I'll let you know!
PS Footnote, I actually very much enjoy playing Perfect World partly for this reason as even though it does not feature anything too different in the combat, the double jumping and flying abilities do really help to make you feel more free and agile! Plus the game is just wicked lol
No, there isnt.
Check again in the future.
