Actually, with all due respect this is not really the case.
Most people who don't like pvp really want a more controlled gameplay experience. They don't want to deal with players' e-peens or attitudes or getting ganked or everything else that comes with many pvp games.
A good many players play these games for story or social reasons. Some exploration as well and a chance to just experience an online world.
It takes a different type of personality to enjoy pvp, especially an open pvp environment.
It seems for the most part that players are not looking for challenge but for a more story driven experience. For example, they aren't looking to pit themselves and their skills against an opponent or to feel adrenaline induced gameplay.
They are more looking for the "I was on a road and came across bandits, they attacked but I lept into battle and defeated my foes so that I could get to castle [insert name here] in order to deliver my message to the king", gameplay experience.
This is not to say that some people won't enjoy pitting skills or the challenge of pvp but I don't really think it's correct to assume that they are not playing because they don't know what they are missing.

Yes you can also be right in this, but then I would like to ask you why these players do not go for better games than MMORPG's..

Up to this point in MMORPG history there hasn't been one MMORPG that has the same gameplay experience as a good Bioware RPG for example..

Most things in a MMORPG world is..

STATIC, they can't make a believable changable world.

QUESTS are rather poor, they simply can't make them as good as a standard RPG..
It's a limitation that most MMO's dev's fight with and constantly are trying to improve, but so far the success in this has been very poor to average..

Up to date there has been Voiceovers in 2 MMORPG's, EQ2 and Age of Conan. Both of these games has it in the beginning but after a while it get's to expensive to really make it worthwhile because of the huge amount of NPCs present..

AI is seldom present at all, It just creates more lag the more advanced it get's..I'm guessing this is the second biggest thing dev's cut down on after graphics in a MMORPG..

So I stand by my view, players of today doesn't really know what they are missing when they play on a PvE server. I did so myself for 2 whole years of EQ2 until i changed when the PvP servers opened and that was the ebst thing i have ever done..

This is one of the reasons to look for Darkfall:

    -   50% of the population wont be stealthers with track

I believe Darkfall will be more forgiving than other games to new people, on this type of enviroment, due the lack of Stealth+ high DPS combo.

Stealth has always been one of the main tools for gankers and to the success of ganking.

EQ2 was heavy on stealth classes. No game I have died so many times as I did the first two weeks there (I remember a day being  chain killed every five minutes by different groups at different places). Full groups, with switch on/off stealth and tracking people was the ganker's paradise. (We only dropped coins and random item there though).

At least in Darkfall invisible people wont be tracking us.
