Tried to come back but became very frustrated when attempting to re-activate my account. Keep receiving the error: "The system was unable to retrieve Membership Plans for the Product Key you entered. [err: 40001] ".
Searching around this appears to be an error ongoing with their billing since October with promise of a quick fix. Only workaround is to use a game card - but I can't find any LOTRO game cards that are digitally delivered. What I find amazing is that Turbine offers no support at all on weekends with either on/off-line for Account Management related issues. Only support is 4PM-8PM EST M-F (their website states differently).
Now I need to call my credit card company to cancel my expansion charge and any attempts at a monthly charge for the game. What a pain. I was going to try this out spur of the moment since Warhammer wasn't keeping my interest - but this re-introduction to LOTRO has turned me off to the game again.
Oh well - thx for listening to me vent. I would have vented on the Turbine LOTRO forums but you can't unless your account is active.

Guild mate had a same problem.
Wrote them email, and they sorted it out in couple of days....
Its a bummer but not a brick wall
