crashes on character creation?

in Everquest II

so, i spent the whole weekend downloading the 'trial' and eq crashes on character creation, i say eq crashes, it restarts my comp, when all im doing is flicking between different races to see what i like the look of...

 

my computer: a macbook pro, running windows XP in bootcamp, the eq installer installed dx, so... ive no idea whats wrong? any ideas?

    I have no idea but maybe others will hopefully add input

     

    meanwhile can try reviewing the SOE tech support forum

    seems to be a problem with eq2 and macbook pro's, seems that perhaps i wont be trying eq2 :( after spending all weekend downloading it lol
