I found this MMOG called Forged by Chaos that resembles Warhammer Online in some way. Quality looks really good but without actual in-game screenshots I can't speak for much. Plus, it is very early in development. It uses the Crytek engine so I can only imagine it looking pretty good.

I dunno... to be honest I've been killing dwarves, elves, orks and all manner of other fantasy being that I'm kind of getting tired of it all. Same with WW2 games. I think I've killed more nazis then the entire German contingent ever had.
I'm sure it will look great but might go the way of Age of Conan where half the people could not run the game. Who knows though, by the time this sees the light of day it might be 4-5 years from now.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
Just for clarification, even though I labelled it as a MMOG it will probably play more like Hellgate London. Even that game is listed in the MMORPG games list. But anyways...yea, I am pretty much in agreement with you. Still, I'll keep an eye out for it just for the heck of it.
Personally i believe the market is over saturated with mmorpg's especially fantasy themed. As pretty as the crytek engine is I would think that its use would limit the prospective subscriber base to those with recently updated computers.
