This place needs a complaint forum to house all the MMORPG burnouts..
For people who have been playing these games and like to post everyday how this and that sucks. Its not the games, its you. The games only seem redundant cause you played them too much. And sorry to tell you, but playing an MMORPG will never seem as interesting to you as it was the first time.....get over it. THere is no need to fill the pub with bitch threads, give these special people there own forum section. Many forums use them.

As inflammatory as your thread is ... I would tend to agree with your sentiment. These forums are a haven for MMO refugees. It feels like a rehab clinic for burnt out vets sometimes. It's actually quite sinister taking a wander over to the SWG forums where people are moaning about something that happened YEARS ago in a VIDEO GAME. I mean, c'mon people get a grip. There is more to life than playing computer games.
I don't believe that would work, they already did it by trying to segregate the SWG vets. I think it's just wrong to say "I don't like your opinions as I disagree so you can only post them there".
BTW AoC sux and SOE is the devil!

If we are to start a revolution then we must be heard by developers not annexed into a camp, segregated inorder that newbies don't hear of the atrocities commited against gamers in the past!
I pray that companys such as Bioware and Netdevil heed the call and join the crusade against the darkside of the gaming industry. I feel that finally we shall be listened to, and perhaps one day when SWToR is launched we need bitch and moan no more. For on that day my brothers and sisters SWG will be gone, SOE shall lay in ruins with Smedley's bloodied throne vacant and we shall once again be able to fight the darkside in the virtual world alone.

Its true , the Vets forum was created but my guess is that the OP wants the forum users not in his favor to be placed and allowed to post in only one forum - Sort of like a Guy I know of that put a whole group of people in one place and then terminated them - Can you name him?

Other than comedic purposes (trust me, lots of people look at those sites and laugh) why would anyone else wanna go there?
I agree that a complaint forus would be nice.
However, the issue of MMO flames and complaints is that the posters wouldnt use it, The posters want to post their complaints where they will be seen in order to 'enlighten' and 'inform' players of their views on how bad this game or that is. Eventually the complaint forum would be a desolate trash bin where mods put the threads to die.

I like people having different opinions. I just don't like people treating their opinion as absolute truth and/or the most important thing in the world, and posting it over and over and over and over and over and over and... ;-)
It would be used by people complaining that a complaint forum exsists and that people don't use it. Rather than people complaining about something else.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen people post that exact same complaint ;-)
I invite you to be the first person to post there since you're no better then the people you accuse. Perhaps we can move this entire thread there and make it the inaugural opening statement.

To the OP.
For the most part, when MMO players have a game they are really into all of their time is spent in that game and in forums for that game. When I was having a great time in WAR I didn't visit these forums once.
Most people come to the general forums when they are in between games to see what's new and what looks good.
So if you want to chat with people that are really into a game you are going to have to go to the forum for that game.
But then again what's the point, I think CoX is the greatest MMO ever made and most people here would disagree with me, so why should I waste my time arguing about it?
I also thing WAR was a great game, once again if I bring that up , it's just going to start fights so why bother?
