in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

I for one was jaded by Vanguard at launch. I wanted to love the game so much... but due to low pop/tech issues and whatnot I gave it up. I loved played the Rogue but the thing that made me so mad was.. anyone A level higher thank me could see me stealthed no matter what (even mobs). Is it still like that? Are Rogues useless suprise attackers.

I like to PVP, its not my bread of butter of MMO's but I do enjoy it. If I was fully prepaired could I sneak upon an ususpecting player and engage in a decent battle which the end result would mostly be in my favor due to skill and experience? I'm not talking about God like abilites, but I remember my Rogue was helpless back at launch. I love to explore and find myself a little overwhelmed at times but that won't keep me a away. 

What are item's like in this game? Is there a great deal of itemization? Can I find an "epic" weapon in a Dungeon and wadering mob?

    Never played a Stealther. so No idea if the lvl thing is still in it... hell I dont Stealth Its free tho till the 31 so if you start now you can find out :P ill ask later and see what the Stealthers think..

    There are better PvP games around like VG.

    In the near future Darkfall will get released and its totally possible that its just another catastrophe-launch like VG or AoC, I would take the time and wait for it. If its half as good as promised youll find a lot better PvP game than VG has to offer.

    if you had an account with Vanguard, then you can still play for free until the end of January which is like tomorrow? haha I found out just a week ago, been playing for free just to check how things are turning out...it has changed a bit, nothing really drastic though...im still having fun, enjoying the old memories etc. well if u get this message then you got until tomorrow to play for free :) good luck...

    PvP server is pretty much dead in VG.

    However there is arenas at max level for pvp and rewards.

    Exploring is your game, VG is your game, its massive and seamless.

    Lots of epic stuff in group and raid dungeons, lots of weapons and armour, at max level enhancement slots etc.

    Now playing: VG (after a long break from MMORPGS)
    Played for more than a month: Darkfall online, Vanguard SOH, Everquest, Horizons, WoW, SWG, Everquest II, Eve
