Looking for a stable guild

Hi to all guilds. My brother and I unfrotunatley missed the beta invites but will be looking for a stable and heirachy based guild to join on release of Darkfall.

We have both played EVE-Online, and Horizons, for a number of years and are looking to get right into this new release.

Preferably the guild will be of significant size to be able to either intimidate enemies into not wanting to fight giving some form of protection, but at the same time it must be controlled by the heirachy so there arent those pesty rouges who run around attacking anything and everything bringing trouble the guilds way. Of course friendlyness is a must, as is maturity.

We aren't interested in Dictatorships, rather a Democracy, where war votes are cast among the high council etc.

Any interest in us joining with your guild please post on this thread, with any questions you may have regarding our MMORPG experience, or anything else you want to ask.

I believe Sturmgrenadier (sghq.com) could be the perfect fit for you. We have a large number of folks planning to play Darkfall, and will likely have many follow if the game shows it's true potential. The guild itself has close to 700 people, if not more... and is a "Community" before all else. We're not just a bunch of crazy gamer nerds, but instead a group of mature men AND women who enjoy gaming, and prefer to do so for the greater good of the guild & alliance.

As far as decision-making... That will of course take place at the highest levels of command... but will also be made by several guilds within our growing alliance. Most people already know that we're allied with both OTG and the Vindicators... and that we're rolling Alfar. Mostly to put a backbone, where none was "expected". (This isn't to say Alfar players are bad... This is to say that the expectation was the Alfar would be PK and no organization) We've decided that we've seen enough issues when some sides of the war are missing organization, and we hope to be able to assist the entire Alfar race. (If you tried, or heard about, PotBS... You'd completely understand)

So yeah... I think we do have everything you're looking for in a guild. I'd simply recommend stopping by and posting in our Non-Members forum if you have any questions, or just wish to say hi.

P.S. Yes... We have a $12 a YEAR fee that covers basic guild expenses. If that instantly turns you away from us... I do certainly wish you luck elsewhere. (You do have 30 days free to decide if you believe it's worthwhile to "pay for friends" as most people prefer to put it)(I prefer the fee personally, but I have my reasons for that)

Hi Viss, thanks for the lengthy reply, I have since posting this thread opted to join a guild which I believe posesses the qualities I am looking for. I feel I am obligated to give them time to make what they can of the situation and what they can bring to the table as I have already joined. I would have to say also, yes the $12 a year is something that I am not particularily fond of either, but although it is bearable, again I feel obliged to give this other guild time.  See you in Agon (if it ever gets bloody released )
