New player - any active guilds on classic servers?

Hi there - downloading the client as this is written. Are there any active pvp guilds on the classic servers?? :-)

 

Thinking of rolling a Skald - MID FTW!

If you want to find a guild you can check the camelot herald.  Click on a server on the classic cluster then sort the guilds by members.  Midgard actually has the largest guild on the cluster and they are probably pretty welcoming to new players since they are so big.

I play on alb and the big guilds on alb seem pretty willing to add new members too so it should not be too hard to find a guild on alb or mid. 

Albion has been doing pretty good on classic but the Mids are putting up a great fight.   You can check the camelot herald to see which realm has control of keeps and relics.

Mid is too cold! Roll Alb or Hib! Besides Alb has 4 relics, Mid 2 and the hippy's none. Just roll alb.

The cold culls the weak so that only the strong survive!  If you pick alb I will kill a kitten.... a cute one no less.

 im watching the game slowly download atm too, i wanna be a troll with a very large sharp axe, from what i saw in the classes this shouldnt be too hard  you just know its gonna hurt when a huge angry troll with a big axe is running at you, know what i mean, cant wait to give the game a try i know its almost as old as eq1 but everyone raves about the rvr gameplay and none of the new mmos are holding my interest for diddly squat, theyre all too easy/boring grinds/no risk reward satisfaction to them

Right. Exactly why I wanna give the trial a shot too, it's gotta be good PVP without feeling like a medieval counter-strike. I tried a trial along time ago, but I don't think I knew what I wanted out of my MMO at the time. Best of luck!

 can it really be, am i really feeling it, yes its aniticipation and hope, game been downloading for like 6 hours getting close, hopefull wont need days of patching, i might have some fun online medievil pvp again!

Some lowbie area's may seem sparse but there is still plenty going on elsewhere.

Supposedly if you need to patch, do it from the test server so that you get better DL rates.  Then once it's done just go back to the normal servers to fix minor differences between the patch.  This way you'll avoid the crappy dl speeds.
