Yes you need a bigtime upgrade.  Your parts are like 6 months old.  Totally passe now.

You should be sitting pretty.  What kind of core 2 processor though?  That could make a big difference.  Your processor could be anything from a lowend conroe to a high end wolfdale for all we know.

    Seems good to me.

2 more gigs of RAM is a good investment however, it is very cheap and good to have in games like WAR and AoC.

If you really feel for coughing up a lot of cash, get a new GFX card too. A 280 GTX card is nice. And a 1.5 TB harddrive for movies and stuff never hurts either.

You can also clock your quad up to about 3.2 without any problem with heat, my 2.4 is currently running at 3.0 with almost no temperature increase (original fan).

But besides the RAM you should be fine for another year.

yea i was planning on getting more ram but also i have to say this 4 gigs plays AoC and crysis PERFECT but future games it may not last. so pretty soon im gunna get 2 more sticks and make it 8 gigs of ram. and hopefully some time ill get a new graphics card

Mate you can build a top of the line rig today and in under six months it will be obsolete, the hardware industry is like that.  The rule of thumb is buy the best that you can afford at the time because if you keep waiting for the next big thing you will never buy one.

The rig you have there will be good for the next three years or so, perhaps even more so be happy and enjoy the gaming :)

wow you have a good specs there dude!!! i wish i can buy that kind of ram too, i got only 256 and still need to uprgade to 2G or 3G. but 2G is enough for me. Compare to you, you've got 4G of RAM Wow!!

I think you should get a bigger hard drive and more RAM (cant have enough RAM), but if you dont have a 64-bit vista than your windows wont read more than 4GB ram.
