Seraph and/or Bahamut

RekujaRekuja Member Posts: 24

Hey there, hows it. I'm a returning player and i have a few questions about these 2 Worlds.

I'll start with Seraph.

If you're a player on Seraph how would you describe dunes / qufim / yuhtunga ? have these areas become much easier to level in and what would the population be like in terms of looking and/or making a party?

For Bahamut players

What's the population like for English players? i heard Bahamut is mainly JP players but would you say it's well rounded with EU/NA/JP?

cheers, hopefuly i get an answer, i have asked these questions in other communities and still no response :( having a hard time picking one of those servers as my main.

Well Seraph and Bahamut were original launch servers. Seraph I know from once playing on that server from launch until the english client is heavy Japanese and always has been. As was Bahamut, but overtime the english have been taking over Bahamut.

I personally have no issues playing with JP or any other languages but if you want mainly EN then go with Bahamut, but you'll still encounter every language there...

As far as population in lower zones, I know it was doing very well in the 3 areas you listed on Bahamut. Since the Level Sync was added high lvl players have been coming down and flooding the lower zones for very quick XP with not only new players but helping friends lvl up other jobs as well. Since you still get XP for the actual level of your job, helping a friend or just a random low lvl player they can sync with is a big thing atm and it easy overall compared to the high end lvling.

You should stick with Bahamut, as it does have a very healthy population and you shouldn't have any issues finding parties!

I'm on Seraph and have been for over three years now.

Population in the three areas you speak of is no where near as crowded as they were during the first year of launch in the U.S. and, though they did go through a period of drought, with the recent addition of Level Sync, many of these areas have become populated again with both new players and old.

I'm a causal player (believe it or not, we do exist in FFXI), but I have been leveling corsair recently and have it at 66.  During my time in the dunes and qufim they seemed to always have a couple parties going, but never so many that you couldn't find a place to camp.  Perfect amount of people, if you ask me.

It seems the jungles aren't camped in much anymore for exp.  Most people prefer West/East Ronfaura [S] (Ronfaura in the past in Wings of the Goddess Expansion).  Mobs in that area are around the same level range as the jungles and are much more easily assessable.

Population seems to be very good on Seraph in general.  It's very rare I have to wait long for parties (thanks to Level Sync) and, because of RL responsibilities, I normally don't party during peak times when most people are on.  So I could only imagine partying would be even easier during peak times.

Hope this info helps!  If you haven't been in Vana'diel for awhile, there's plenty of new things to have fun with, outside of parties.  Hope you enjoy!
