thinging about returning to Planet side

hey guys, i used to play planet side way back when it started out, and i am thinging about giving the game another go, so i was wondring if one of you cout send me a boddy key so i can get a free trail run at it, and see if i wout like to come back or not.

    Hello,

    Same here, used to play planetside awhile ago, but stopped due to my computer specs.
    Now I was thinking of returning, but I have a few questions.

    1: Are there still many people playing? Are there lots of big battles (atleast 20-vs-20)
    2: How is the europe(Werner) server coming along? are there still lots of people playing there?
    3: How is the game itself? Are there still many memory leaks, and is everyone still complaining
    and thinking about quitting?

    I would also like a buddy key, if anyone could hook me up with one? I would be most greatful.

    1. yes alot of people...if u playedl ast year like my self then u will c a BIG change in the fights...

    2.europe...same as usuall....hope ur not american cuz u wont bl iked on that server ill tell u that..at least not by the VS...

    3.mem leaks...no idea what that is but i havnt had to many problems...and duh there r people complaining people always complain thats lifeimage people r always thinking about quiting....im not leaving till i get my guy to CR5, then ill prolly bail 4 WoW. mayb....dunno.....must get new comp and try it out firstimage

    Erm.. hmm, yeah. Id love a buddy key too. Played at release, loved it, got tired of it, wanna try again.

    On the Emerald Server, Yesterday NC was able to force the TR completely off the map TWICE! to their Sanctuary Island. There is a big patch in testing atm that is scheduled for release Prior to December Including the "Big Bots" Patch....

    They have also introduced a twist in the planetside Story to explain the new "Battle-Grounds" that was once known as Oshur.

    Lots of changes and more to come. Worth checking out.

    hehe, thx malk image.

    But one question. if i start up once more and lets say i like the game, how big is the need to get the expansion ?

    i know from Playing Everquest that the Expansions were Need to have basicly. Is it the same here or ?

    I'll answer this for now untill you get it answerd by the person you wanted..
    The expansion is good to have if you are in to trying the new weapons/vehicles like the Maelstrom, Fail, router, ext... Its not a must though to still do well in the game.. The caves are still rather unused for the most part.. There are caves battles from time to time but most I have seen on each sides was about 35...The expansion is a must though if you want to try out these new empire specific BFR's that are comming out soon. Since to use them you going to have to go down in the caves and accomplish some sort of trail (quest) before your allowed to use them.

    if u want the BFRs...learn to like the caves, u will b down there alot. maelstrom...tkae that into a crowded spawn room...HELLO KILL JUMP. the radiator is crap. flail is 4 when u need to whore exp. router is awesome when used corectly. and the modules r very useful.

    so whast every1 think of the new painfield?? ruins spawn campers unless u get sensor shield, which is fine cuz i still got an unused point...who needs darklight when uve got thumperimage.

    Bah all this talking about palnetside made me reativate my Acc. installing the game now, o well now there is only abit of waiting to do and then i well be back in the game to see if it was worth it or not
