Regarding LOTRO graphics

A lot say how good the game looks or how much immersive it is...
Thing is I never saw samples here
I just upgraded my PC to an AMD 6000 x2 and an ATI HD4830 512mb
Total cost:  160 GBP
These are with my PC running at 1360x768 (I'm on a 21" LCD TV) and Ultra-High with 8x antialiasing (24x AA in truth since it's enhanced thru ATI drivers).
I can play the game looking like this without hitching or lagging or whatever, plays flawlessly even in groups.

So I will post my pics - Whoever says these don't look good needs an eye check imho :)

Note: DX10 enabled.

I'm having trouble with the game crashing on me. I'm about to post about it, but yeah, the game looks great. I just bought the game yesterday and got a couple characters to lvl 5. I have a pet peeve about character animations. I just need them to be fluid and be plentiful. LotRO does a real good job of it. Say if your holding the right mouse button down while running forward and you look to the side. Your character turns at the hips instead of some akward slide movement. I really dig things like that.

The enviroments are top notch but the character models are a bit meh, character heads for example are ugly, lack detail and are out of place compared to the NPCs heads that look half decent. The male bodies especially humans could do with some proportion tweakings. Player animations are a bit rough, the look and feel of combat would feel so much better if they animations flowed together a bit more.

I agree, they should revamp the character models and bring them up to par with the environment.

Those are indeed sweet shots.  I spent several months running on low setting on my old PC until I picked up my new Laptop that runs the game fantasically. I 'm still totally awed by the graphics after several weeks of really seeing them as they should be, especially in the Evendim and Rivendell Valley areas.
