Whats progression like in this game?

Hi, I'm thinking of trying this game out but I was just wondering how progression works.  I assume you gain levels and equipment for yourself but do you level and equip individual mercs in your party?

Also whats this games low/mid/end game?  Like if I played this game for 3 months how will it be cooler at that level than at the begining?

Mercs pretty much work exactly like your main character in leveling up and equipping.

With a couple of exceptions: One, mercs have sub-classes, you need to upgrade their class at 20th, 50th, 80th, and I guess 100th with some sort of crystals. Their apperance changes slightly and their stats get better.

Two, your main guy has more equipment slots. Like for a mount, outfit, hat. (Most of this is cash shop).

I can't answer the progression question, exactly, since I've only played for 5 weeks (and 2 weeks in the closed beta). But basically seems the same, just different dungeons.

I think at higher levels you can do more guild and nation stuff (special instanced dungeons). And apparently at level 95, the amount of experience needed to level up increases dramatically. (But I'm only at 65, so I dunno).

One thing though, as you get more mercenaries, your strategies change.

you can equip your mercs like the way you can with your main character...

the difference is your mercs could be upgraded using different kinds of crystals...

hi im just newbie and i was reading some thread about this game and i am amaze to atlantica online... aside from normal party you have also mercenaries to recruit.. sounds very interesting.. any more details about the game?....

hi there im also a new gamer of atlantica and a newbie one also. i heard that, theres a special event this coming february. its a "be my valentine" special event of atlantica online. And i found a thread regarding on this matter. try to visit it guys...
