For SOE to give Planetside a complete makeover with a new site and easy to download web client and make it free to play with advertising and micro transactions. The reason why Planetside is dead now is because they still expect people to pay monthly for it and I think games lots of them free online games such as warrock and silkroad online show that if it's an online game and it's free then people will play any old shit. Atleats Planetside would be offering something different from the crowd with giant thousand people FPS battles.

I would Also like for SOE to merge all the SWG servers down to 2 or 3 and then use the resources left to release a classic pre NGE/CU server.





Then I would play Planetside because it would have the population back and I would resubscribe to SWG again and finally be happy with the genre because my two fave games are back.

Posted this the SWG section a while back and extended on it somewhat, it's somewhat of a wish list, but for now more of a dream list.....

Combat/animation: Tabula Rasa.

Harvesting/crafting/economy: pure SWG style

Environment: a cross between Vanguards swaying trees and AoC more realistic looking world, of course depending if or if not my DREAM game will be able to pull of near to CGI graphics, then the game would already look awesome.

Loot system: TwoWorlds <(single/multi player RPG what you see a mob wearing/using is what you will loot),

Quest system: probably BIOWARE's but personaly never THAT involved with the quests, I a more of a creat my own journey and I can enjoy quest with single players games allot more then with MMORPG's as like I said with a MMORPG I want the freedom a single player RPG can not deliver, which is creating my own journey/story. Now I do enjoy a good story or quest within a MMORPG, but often they give me that singleplayer feel which I don't want out of my MMORPG experiance. Now perhaps Bioware's system might end up like more of a singleplayer experiance, but it's far to soon to judge about that at this time.

Character creation: APB, apart from the game to me just being a multiplayer online game, it does offer a very nice character creation system.

Graphics: near or similar to CGI intro movies/trailers. A man may dream may he not?

Style/Setting: Sci-Fi or Horror, but if Horror not mainly Hack&Slash, but of course elements of it, mixed with all type of horror elements, if Sci-Fi I really hope for ground/space and with this I would love to actualy lift of from the ground and fly into space, instead of the use of loadscreens or spacestation, though I would love spacestations aswell, but not to teleport or load into.

Communications: a type of Talk to Text way, meaning people who enjoy talking to eachother with programs like TeamSpeak/Vintrilo and sorts to be able to just talk to eachother, but those who prefer not to use speech can just read what is said in of course dedicated channels. Everyone happy this way and still able to com. the way YOU want.
