But not a game breaker anyways :)

You can find cowls still I think. Not to mention bandanas and hats as well as many types of helmets.

I think cowels are more common the masks.  I would love a +6 Cha Mask.

How is this site even remotely accurate?

Lotro had 300k subs in 07 and still has the same number? No increase or decrease?

These are purely speculative results and therefore worthless :)

Lotro is a game I do play since 07 here and there and it's always growing in population ... So where is this reflected on this site? Nowhere -> pointless site:)

So LotRO is growing so much that they have added all of 0 servers since launch?

I don't think us fanboys are saying DDO isn't static, were just saying it's no more static than most other mmo's. Also you have yet to prove which other mmo's are less static.

So I didn't catch AM verse PM - big deal, that even bodes worse for the games population if on the tail end of a peak time the numbers on one of five servers are that low.

But go ahead, talk about how DDO is growing and thriving while the game is clearly just hanging on and Turbine themselves ignores it, farms out its servers to an underresourced network causing persistent and regular lag and crashes and ignore promoting or marketting the game including no acknowledgement of the three year anniversery.  Such things clerly indicate the health and growth you all spout off about.

MOD 9 is the very definition of Vaporware (from Wikipedia): Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product.

Have ever posted anything that is correct, or are you always making stuff up like this? Software delays are perfectly normal and mod 9 is well within the norm for a software delay. By accusing it of being varorware only makes you look like some newbie who just discovered the word and is impatiently eager to use it for the first time. Its not unlike your first attempt at using the words 'dynamic' and 'static' without really knowing what those words mean.

    - So you're saying that...from 2007 the game kick started with 300k and stayed there? And you are supporting this with the "no new servers" argument ? Do we know how many people play on these servers? If you do believe a game stayed from release till now to same amount of subs then you are living in your own reality.

Nice spin lol. First you say that on peak hours there is only 100 people on and talk all doom and gloom. Then when I prove that number is probably 10 times more and you say that is even worse lol. Second you call me a liar and a fanboy and that I'm delusional for calling you out. Then your asked for proof and you continue to spout nonesense.

I'd hate to be your boss or have to work with you.

Your definition is 100% wrong on Mod 9 as it has not reached the time where it could be considered well beyond the development cycle. They are adding 4 levels and one would hope the needed content for those so this is their biggest project since the initial game was released. Your spouting off is making you look worse and worse and is simply convincing more people to ignore you.

12:30 at night is not the end of prime time. It is near the end of prime time for west coast and after the prime time for East coast. Last night at 4:00 AM I did a count and there were 180 people on the who list  and using my guild as a rough basis half the server was anonymous. We had 6 people on and 4 were anonymous which was more than half but i was trying to keep the numbers from sounding too ridiculous. Unlike you I do not simply spout out crap numbers and when called on it say it was a jest.

You obviously have an issue with DDO, so why not tell us what your problem is?

No, I am saying that it is fairly obvious that LotRO is neither in decline nore growing but relatively stable.  Not saying bad or good about it just speaking realisticly about it on the obvious circumstance that that they have never needed to reduce or increase servers.

A 3 year old game with low pop numbers, with the developers almost completely absent from the community, with servers (not even with updates/patches being applied) crashing regularly and for long periods of times (hours and hours every few days), and a number of other things I think it is perfectly reasonable to infer the game has been, at best, pushed to the back burner if not just left to wither on the vine.  Now, with that perfectly reasonable inference how likely is it they are going to add 4 more levels meaning tons of new content (high end levels means more content that shuffling some middle or lowbie stuff around).  And what about balancing that content now that the greensteel is out of Pandora’s box?  If you build that content to be balanced for folks with the greensteel (very elite gear compared to anything else in the game) then that pretty much precludes those without it.  And since greensteel takes many folks months of mindlessly grinding the very same quest over and over and over (as much as what, 40 to 60 times and more) there will be a good chunk of folks who won't have that stuff and then won't find this new high end content accessible.  If they go the other way and make it balanced for regular gear then those with the greensteel elite stuff will burn through it so easily that the content will have no staying power at all.  In short, too late I know, they are between a rock and a hard place in trying to put in content for this increase in level to 20 - no viable way to do it.  That is why the delays, coupled with the overall near abandonment of the game, they are not saying jack about it and are well past their schedule with it.

Anyways, we shall see - the thing about vaporware is that it is only vaporware until it finally gets out.  Perhaps MOD 9 in some cheesy form will come out (couple 'high end' quests you just do over and over like the Shroud that parade as more than they are just to put in time grind will come out some time, but I think it is very likely it never comes.

A healthy game, a growing game as some poster claimed prompting my reply on populations doesn't measure its users, especially with 5 servers, in hundreds ever - period.  If you cannot admit that DDO has very low populatiosn then you just are not being honest.  Maybe 15k or 20k subs at best, and this cooinsides with many industry watchdog sites that report around.

My problem is as I have stated, people making statements that contradict what reality shows.  As for Wikipedia, Websters is not exactly the kind of resource that a slang term shows up in making Wikipedia a perfectly reasonable 'source' for the context.  Give me a break.

You mean we contradict your reality? When was the last time you played DDO? You use watchdog sites that guess the number just like you do. It is meaningless. You seem to be on a one man(I use that term loosely) crusade to convince people the game is dying. But you and people like you have been wrong for 3 years now.

DDO has a low population, but that does not mean it is dying. It is a niche game and has been since day 1. If you think you are revealing some amazing things here you failed.

Did Turbine touch you in your naughty place? You really have a hard on for them dont you?
