What is your favorite mercenary and why

My favorite is the archer because it has strong attack damage. It ussually kill monsters on 1 turn. My archer already got ahead of my main character in terms of level.

Mine ofcourse, Spearman! ahahah because it has a strong offensive character.. It's an Average HP and defense but I enjoy playing that kind of build..

Princess, totally. Just the image of a royal commanding a squad of gunners, archers, and what have you totally rocks in my mind. Either Princess or Prophet, really...

for me my favorite is Gunner.. cause it is really reliable on making damage and stunning the enemy's troops.. ^^;

mine is lady knight. simply it has a greater  deffence power among the melee types..and i want also a monk and a prophet for support....

As far as the basic mercs go, I like the strike anywhere + dmg ability of the archer but in Free League I couldn't imagine being without my monk.

please pardon my "newbieness." lol! but i just wanted to share my favorite mercenary and it would definitely be the axe main. specially when it is a female! woooh! hotness!

for basic mercenary i would go to swordsman.. why good in attack and high defence good for tanks...

they just released the new patch and the spearman has a new powerful skill with 5k damage. I'm thinking twice of replacing my spearman for a spartan.

but that skill is for spearman main... i think flame blow is the name of that skill...
