Pre-order poll and question

Hey guys quick question. If I do not pre-order DF, are they only allowing a certain amount of people to download and play on the 25th and allowing more account creations as they are prepared for it? What is the incentive for pre-order? Thanks

Preordering the game will get you access on the first day it seems, or at least give you a better chance of getting in on the 25th.  If you don't preorder, you will still have a chance to get in on the 25th but there will be mass competition.  From what Tasos said(take this with a pinch of salt) they will be allowing more players in every few days as they try to increase capacity with demand.  At least that's what I got out of it.

UNfortunatly preordering looks like a wash. Best thing to do now is wait for the dust to selttle.

Funny, based on all the Darfall hatred , doom and gloom you would think noone would want to play this game. Looks like the nay sayers were mistaken

Based on what?  The failure of a server to be able to stay online while handling orders, and a forum at the same time?

As much as I enjoy the excitement of a brand new game, I will have to pass on this one.

I'm not going to post my reasons here, as I posted them in www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/224097/So-Darkfall-appears-to-be-a-massive-fail-what-is-everyone-going-to-do.html .

Another reason is that the whole pre-order fiasco that happened earlier today made even more cautious than I already was, I will not be giving these guys any money. Not only are they not ready for the MMO market, they can't set up a simple freaking "shopping cart" with the tools provided for them by their billing company.
