So Aventurine is broke eh?

poppetspoppets Member Posts: 93

Pretty obvious they are either broke or damn near broke otherwise they wouldn't be taking a page directly out of the Farlan scam book and taking "limited" pre orders for something that is no where remotely near being done, tested properly, etc...

How can a company that can't even manage to properly launch an MMO think they are actually ever going to be able to actually SUPPORT one... nevermind actually build one properly.. which they totally failed to do at this point anyway... since all the beta reports make the game look like nothing more than an outdated very generic poor combat simulator and pretty much nothing else..

To all those who pre order this mess -- you DO KNOW that you are paying them to try and finish a game that they could not finish in over 7 years.. right???  RIGHT?

1-2 months and it's done for. Who wants to bet?

Oh you trolls get cuter every day a game more stable than Vanguard, Age of Conan, and possibly even Warhammer, and you think its "nowhere near done!" If you honestly believe yourself, I'd seek help.

    I second that!

For once.....just once.....it would be great if NO-ONE replies to this thread (apart from this of course lol). Just once......

I know you are reading this thread and thinking "Right I'm gonna tell him how wrong he is" but try and resist the urge. Think of how great it will be to see a thread like this come to a complete stand still.

Ya beta may be stable but whos to say that once the flood gates open that it will be stable? Of course it will be stable with a control number of players.

No open beta = no real stress test.

Please someone link an article that proves a stress test has taken place as I would like to read it.

Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)
    Now Playing: N/A
    Worst MMO: FFXIV
    Favorite MMO: FFXI

Its amazing how much the post seems like a Tenspotting post, not saying it is though. Just a theory not stating it as fact. In any case nah, I don't think there out of cash. There are some benefits that come from being supported by the goverment I would assume.

There were no Preorder limits on Mourning. Anyone was welcome to get robbed.

Hehehe very true... so Mourning with even worst network code and server support... trying to keep a choke on the subs so they don't come in and break the Dell Inspiron 8500 that they are running on...

Sounds like pot <> kettle to me.

No MMO is ever finished. They're a continuously evolving social disease.  Aventurine clearly needs a cash infusion. That doesn't mean they won't get it and survive or even prosper. Only time will tell.

Why does everyone always assume they THINK they know what is going on inside a company...How would you know if they clearly need a cash infusion?  Follow that statment up with im there accountant.

I beta tested it.   I absolutely loved it.   I got thrills out of it that I haven't had in a game since AC-Darktide.   There is no other game out there right now that comes close to delivering to me what I want and what Darkfall gives.     I will buy it.   I don't give a crap if you do or not.

Hihi, someone who play WAR calls others tards, that`s a new one.

I can tell you that the newbie area in Darkfall has more exciting PvP than all War`s grinding  BG`s and castle zergs. The reason is simply that DF is a PvP mmo, and WAR is a PvE mmo.

Oh, and I forget to tell you I closed my WAR account after two weeks because the game was boring, but those scammers who made WAR reactivated my account without my knowledge. I manage however to grind my runepriest to LV 35, then luck stroke and I got an invite to test Darkfall.

Who is the tard you more on?

    Yes they are broke.

Does anyone not know this by now?

Thats why they had no advertisement and no open beta, and its why they are starting with one server.

And the preorder is not that bad its only a deposit for the rest of the purchase after all, and I would have bought any way, im happy to donate to the cause of getting a game I like launched in better shape then it would have otherwise.

Still doesnt say anything about the quality of the game that we will see after launch.

I's be seeking help yourself.  It is pretty easy to create the illusion of having a stable platform when Aventurine have pretty much controlled the number of people allowed to access the game via the beta.  I think the results may have been very different if Aventurine had opened the floodgates and let tens of thousands of players have a crack a playing the beta.

Funny , i guessing now from the eartlier numbers on the preorders, they sold if it went at the same speed, over 10k  preorders, that is if the numbers keep rolling as they have been.

Or they shut the spout off, not sure what the limit is for preorder....
