Is there a way to use mouse only in WoW?

Hi Everyone

Is there a way to not have to use the keyboard ? Like the way Diablo 2 and StarCraft  and i believe WarCraft 3 uses only a mouse to Run and Fight?  If not could they add it for the people that like the point and click. image

image I know many people use the W.A.S.D keys or the arrows... I look at it as Spelled as Wasp image

I just seem to like the old way of playing...

You don't have to use the hotbars on your keyboard, you can click them with your mouse, although I personally prefer to use the keyboard, it's faster and easier.

In options there is an option for using PnC.

It's what I use most of the time and I only have to use the keyboard if I want to chat.

I know too well where you come from.

I was a big fan of diablo and diablo II and I probably have more hours logged in those two games paired than all other games combined.

like mentioned above, there is a point and click option if you wish to enable it and this is probably the first thing I would've done had I not been forced to get used to the AWSD keys playing City of Heroes.

Now that I have gotten comfortable with the keys to move my char around, I prefer using that method.

Although the point and click option might be more familiar and seem friendlier to you, I suggest you try getting used to the keys. In the long run, I think you'll find youself having more control over your character once you feel at east with the system. especially during battles and especially if you are fighting with a class which relies on ranged attacks.

the learning curve isn't that bad. You'll be at home with the mechanics in a couple of days image

I don't know how many people have one,  but this accessory is great! and I would suggest it to anyone who plays many of the online games (shooters, MMORPG's etc) give it a try...

Maybe you can give me pointers .. but I actually bought one of those infernal devices for City of Heroes and I found it painfully uncomfortable: " the thumb button that replaces the space bar for jumping seemed sticky - the replacement button for the <tab> used for targeting was harder to reach and the orange button was hard to press.

perhaps I should've spent more time toying with it ... it could just be that I have small fingers. Has anyone else had a bad experience with the Nostromo?

by holding down the right mouse button you can run and control wich direction you are to go in.. Just go into key config and put run on one if you buttons on the mouse (if you have more then 2)... But remeber that you wont be able to walk backwards or strafe if you only want to use the mouse (if you don't have like 6 or more buttons on you mouse that you'd like to use). Otherwise it's just the mouse that you need.. It will get a little tough for you in fighting since you will have to click every shortcut you have choosen...

PS. It is possible to play WC3 without keyboard but you would lose big. Ask yourself this... How easy would it be to attack if you haven't put numbers on you diffrent troops and then how about klicking you hero on the screen to get to his spells... You would lose every solo game you'd ever play with that strategy......

There is a mouse only option where you can move around using you mouse by right clicking on the ground. I use it all the time and its great mainly for the fact that you automaticlly get into range to cast spells with it on and you dont get that annoying "Out of Range" message. Plus you auto follow the mob when in combat with click to move enabled.
