Linux / PS3 question

I'm not a linux guru by any means. I can handle the basic operations of a linux pc but beyond that i'm lost.

Here's what i'm trying to do. I'm trying to get my linux partition to share it's resources (blu-ray drive) with my PC via my router. I know how to do this pretty easily on windows but i'm lost with it on linux. I'm using Yellow Dog 6.0. Any ideas?

I know this is more of a software than hardware questions but this forum comes closest LOL.
