Tasos just posted that the preorders are back up. I was able to login and confirm my preorder placed on Friday. But within the last couple minutes the site has started crawling again and is spitting out HTTP 500 INTERNAL SERVER errors. So good luck everyone!
Yeah, at this point, if I can play by the end of the week, I'll be happy. With everyone and their mother trying to preorder and download the game, everything is sloooooow. Honestly, this is not the kind of game where starting from day one is going to make much of a difference. I'm sure the excitement of it all is reason enough. Anyway, glad to see the interest is mounting at a fast pace for this release. Here's hoping it is successful! Back to Mount & Blade...

wow there are some angry fans over at the official forums (not trolling, being totally serious for a moment). The first page of the advanced topics page is nothing but issues over this preorder. I am starting to feel sad for the fans now (
lol why is everyone giving themselves a headache with an over loaded pre-reg. when you can just wait till the 25th... thats in one day. Everyone can still buy the game then just like right now hehe.
I thought Tasos said there was going to be a "limited pre order". It sure does not look like there limiting nothing. Will all the pre orders be able to play or will some get left out ?

Because there is only 10,000 spots open or so they say. Like hell their cluster is going to handle that anyway. All the fanbois are going to witness downtime to the extreme. Fuck up #1 was not stress testing the servers, fuck up #2 comes up right after the "oh shit" button is pressed.
