Hi Everyone,
I picked up SWG maybe a week before NGE came out so the big changes never had an effect on me like they did on the many people that left after the change. However, after about a month of playing one of the legacy quests was bugged for a good two weeks which didn't allow me to progress with my BH and I ended up getting frustrated and quit.
Question is, what is the main focus of this game now? PvE or PvP? All the vids I've seen are PvP it seems there is very little PvE content in the game. Is there 5/10/15/20 etc. man dungeons? how are the high level items obtained? any raiding? I'm conteplating on returning but aren't much of a PvP fan and would like to get an idea of the PvE aspect before I jump back in.
Thanks!

Welcome back, Herceg!
I remember those old bugs with the Legacy quest, they are all fixed now thankfully.
The main focus of SWG is whatever you want it to be, sounds a bit of a cliche but SWG supports a huge variety of playstyles from hardcore PvPer, PvE adventurer through to those looking for a more social experience from their gameplay.
PvE wise you can take the fight to some familiar Faces of Evil, protect Mos Espa against the Nomads of Tatooine ,forcefully board a Star Destoryer in a bid to put an end to Captain Andal Sait's Rebellion, battle Sith Lord Exar Kun in his Domain of Evil or take part in the epic Battle of Echo Base!
I hope that helps, good luck out there.
There is alot of PvE to do and one of the changes they made since you were gone was to up the difficulty level on alot of it so you're pretty much forced to group.
There is a limit on how many can be in the group so I don't think you'll ever see any 20 man raids. The large numbers action seems more limited to Pvp and since visually Pvp looks better on youtube or whatever .... that's why you see more of it than PvE vids.
SWG (pre-cu) - AoC (pre-f2p) - PotBS (pre-boarder) - DDO - LotRO (pre-f2p) - STO (pre-f2p) - GnH (beta tester) - SWTOR - Neverwinter
The core game for most is probably PVE to be honest. The PVP is not open PVP so you have to flag etc. Its definatly more appealing to PVE"ers, but then I spend most of my time with PVE'ers and not with PVP'ers and about the only PVP I do is bounty hunting. Groups are 8 man groups for any dungeons.
Thank you all,
So far I like what I hear. I liked the game the first time I picked it up i just dropped it due to so many bugs at the time but I'm sure most of the important stuff is ironed out by now. I think I'm gonna give it another whirl, can anyone suggest any good EST server?
Any of these would be fine for you:
Medium/High Population East Coast USA
