I might be mistaken but I thought these forums were about mmo discussion and information?
I logged in to find out about DF's release, what's going on etc and I get four pages of hatred about scams, Tasos packing for Hawai, bugs and freezes and lag.
The funny thing is that I never once find the posts from people that actually play the game and can talk about lag etc. This is madness! (and unfortunately not Sparta)
So, in other words, I am a forum member with no interest in trolling or hyping, just wanting to learn about some info and ask people if they are having fun and I can't do it. simple as that.
I propose erasing all those reduntant and painfully similar threads and compiling them to
a)Official Complain about Delay thread
b)Official first experiences thread
c)Official complain about possible bugs, lag thread
d)Official bashing thread
The quality of DF sub-forums was bad as long as I remember lurking here but now it's even more foul than sewers. That is NOT good moderating. I don't expect miracles with such a shitty community but I at least would like an.... effort?

call aventurine to get their forums up and handle their own traffic.

Welcome to MMORPG Darkfall section, home of the trolls. Don't think anything is going to change.
However, if you read my frist day experiences (there are two threads on here by me on it), it will give you a good idea of how the gameplay is. I personally very much enjoy the game, so do the people that have gotten to try it in my guild.

mods dont come around here too often you pretty much gotta stick up for yourself and be prepared for the flame war that happens in every single post
I hope your right. Many potential subscribers and current subscribers with fatal product issues foilowing a consumers payment for product and services needs to be made known, and if there are any known resolutions to the bugged and constant queue issue, I'd like to know about....since after several repeated attempts to gain feedback from the source of the product, there is no response.
The forums hosted by Darkfall producers were closed several hours ago due to them not being able to communiate with people. The mmorpg forums were the first well known to all, so all came here. The official forums will be open some time soon (hopefully)
Yep. I'm with you on that one. Not right for Aventurine to rely on other sites like this to handle their forum traffic. Still can't wait to play the game though!

No, Fully supported and encouraged by the sites overseers, this community has a LONG way to go before it will be satisfied Tasos has been taught a lesson for talking snooty to them.

I wouldnt call rampant consumer alerts about potential fraud trolling.
Why should the Darkfall boards be spared the 'hate' posts? The DDO, Dark and Light, Everquest 2, World of Warcraft, Age of Conan boards, in fact, every game listed has had them. Put up with it.

That sounds pretty valid to me lol. People are just angry or upset that they payed for the preorder etc and cant play. this happens at least to a few people in every game. however here in the DF world, seems very few can play at all, making plenty of rage going out on mmorpg.com, and of course the anti -DF people are going to be here to catch every drop of angry customer rants and fuel the fires more.

Only those people who want to bend over and kiss Taso's ass should be allowed to express their opinion on a MMO DISCUSSION board that isn't run by the game's company. This isn't Adventurine's tech support forum, it is a dicussion forum for the GAME of Darkfall, I've yet to see a topic (or at least not many) that haven't had something to do with the game or the developers of darkfall, just because it is negative, doesn't make it irrelevent.

Nope, negative posts should be allowed. 30 posts about the delay, 20 about how Aventurine stole the mnoney and run, 15 'I told you so' threads should NOT be allowed. They should be merged. Get it?
Darkfall has forums just for bathing darkfall in a bright sunshinely light. This is not them. I'm sorry you can't come here to find out INFORMATION about darkfall.. well to be honest, there isn't much.
These forums are very heavily moderated, they just arn't to your liking. They are for Darkfall DISCUSSION, and they are doing that just fine right now. So.. Back the truck up.. and head away to different forums if these ones aren't doing it for you.
