I love WoW again BUT:

So my friends convinced me to return to WoW yet again with the WotLK expansion... and I was glad I did.  I guess I had been away long enough this time to truly enjoy it again...   it's really refreshing to get back to such a well made game after all the others I've tried over the years.   Vanguard was my biggest let down, after that I wasn't shocked by AoC and WAR sucking....  though I bought both of those too.

 

Back on topic..   I love WoW again... the new expansion is fantastic, and at least a little bit different (where I think BC was exactly the same as the original and really not great).

 

A few weeks ago I decided to start from level 1 again... recruit a bunch of newbies and play through more or less like I did the first time.  I'm not generally prone to playing alts.. so I havent played the low level content in a long time....    I am having a great time training my newbies... and really enjoying myself.. BUT....

 

OMG they have nerfed all the low level content into oblivion..... they have made it so easy that I think if I didnt know what the high end content was like I would agree with many of the haters that this is a "kiddie" game and quit. 

 

Dungeons that used to take a very well organized five man group can now be completed by two or three players the same level...  and much more easily.

 

We just completed Uldaman VERY easily (with 5 players) and we were too low level to be eligible for most of the quests involving it.....  we actually pulled entire rooms at once, instead of just single pulls.

 

I understand they are trying to make the low level game playable with a lower population, and I understand they want it to be easier for new players to catch up to high level friends... but come on...  a challenge should be available if you go looking for it!

 

Thank god the high end game is still the way it should be..... but I'm really disappointed that the classic game is totally devoid of challenge now.

 

 

P.S.-  I havent played the level 80 end game content yet, I've heard it is also easier then the older stuff..... hopefully not too much easier =(
