Why don't they shut down the servers for maintenance?
Don't get me wrong from the topic title, I'm not a troll, but not a fanboi either.
I'm someone who has a lot of faith in Darkfall, because
a)its the type of game I like and
b)I liked what I saw graphic wise and what I imagine gameplay will be if not for the lag and sync issues.
BUT
Why the F**k are the servers still online and they haven't shut them down for maintenance/update?
The game is COMPLETELY unplayable at this moment. You can't even log in twice with the same character and mobs are impossible to hit because of the lag.
So why are they keeping it online instead of fixing it???

To be honest, i really think its cuz they dont care, they bit off more than they could chew by launching witht he game so incomplete, they launched with it so imcomplete becuz they put out a date that was too soon for them and didnt want to miss it twice, they launched and their small team increased their workload tenfold and they cant handle it, they are currently working on account issues, and they again have just a small team and really cant work on more than 1 thing at a time.

Yeah we Greeks are really proud but mostly in a dumb way.
Pride sucks. You got to swallow it and move on.
I just wish tomorrow when I come back from the uni, the game will be playable.
Cause it is a really awesome game if they fix it.

In my experience with their patching in the past, they might not keep anyone posted, but at least they deliver. Mostly. It's just that they tend to leave the part about keeping everyone up-to-date as an afterthought to the afterthought.
That isn't to say everything will be fixed by tonight, but there's a good chance we'll see a patch tonight.

They were working till around 2-4 am for past weeks. Damn jankies had always servers up:/
I think that they haven't fixed it yet, but if they would take down servers they would be doing the same thing as they are now.
I think they will restart the server when they have made a fix, instead of having the servers offline for many hours. It is still possible to craft, harvest and things like that.
It's like someone in the chat said, they got two choices, keeping the server online and hearing us whine, or keeping it offline and hearing us whine even more.
This is just what I think, I really like this game, I played it earlier today when there was no synchronization problems and it was extremely fun combat! But I really hate how they treat their customers with things like updates.

Neon, I'm Greek and I can tell you that 2:20am is not that late for Greece. We are night owls here:P
I don't expect them to sleep at all on launch day. Especially with so many problems.
