Question: Monster Infos

I was told that when I receive monster info of a particular mob, the chances of getting the best drops for killing that mob increases.

I believed this to the point that I am currently only hunting this particular "ninja assassin" so that I could obtain shogun boxes. But I only manage to get about 2 of them for the past 2-3 hours. And my stamina is running low now.

Currently, I only got 10.11% info on this mob. Can anyone really reach 100% monster information that will consequently make this shogun boxes to drop in an incredible rate?

Sorry about asking too much about this game. But I believe this is one aspect of the game that is being neglected.

The % is how much total info (of all monsters) you have, not that monster.

Each monster has 3 levels of info you can get (shown on the popup window as three dots when you get it).

The first is just basic info. The second is location info (often needed for quests), the third is item info.

And when you have the latter, it doesn't dramatically increase the drop rate of a given item, you just get 2 of an item instead of 1 when you get a drop from that monster.

Actually if you get Basic Info on a monster, you will do 10% more damage to that monster.  If you have the Location Info, you can look up where it is located at in the Game Info menu.  If you have the Item Info you will receive a bonus item when you recieve the item (instead of 2 ashen crystals for instance, you would get 2+1=3 ashen crystals).  The info is given at a random % when you attack, seems to be around 2-3%.

If you are going to farm a monster for something it's always best to get the Item info on the monster

Almost everyone in my guild is over 90% right now.  We all share our information with everyone else.  It's very helpful for farming and doing bosses.  the +1 items and 10% damage bonus don't sound like much but it adds up

So, indeed monster information are very useful for drops and that 10% buff. Also, I find sharing monster information a good way to gain stamina. Since I often drains my stamina away when grinding.
