Well I have mixed feelings about people getting in before others. I think it would have been nice if everyone got in on launch day however it seems like an imposable outcome for what this company is capable of.
it is in many ways good they are limiting servers because so many new games I play they merge servers later on which would be a disaster in this game.
Anyhow I personally think you make too big a deal about being in on the first week or day whatever it is. if you really truly think about where you resins come from you may find your thinking emotionally in some ways and that your creating your own troubles. I'm not in yet but I am considering starting a new guild based on a loosely role-played empire that believes has the right to rule the world and will work from there. I can likely muster 4 or 5 friends but that’s nothing really so it is a monumental task to thin about doing. however I know it is possible if I work at it and the fact these people have clans already is just a consideration I will take into account.
What I'm getting at is I have before in other mmo's created something from nothing when others said it cannot be done and the only difference between them and I was that I spent my time considering how I could do it and they spent their time thinking about why it could not be done.
So I'm suggesting getting your buddies and start making a plan organize you races set up specific members to do some scouting and find where they clans who have the advantage are and where you may be able to get your foot in the door. if you are better more organized or stronger you can take a city from anyone that’s part of the wonder here is a dynamically changing political empire system.
Hummm, have the OP never played an MMO before? I could join an 10 year old server and be competitive whiting a few weeks. What the hell does a few days matter in the long run?
I sarted playing WAR on the first day, and now i have 400 hours played, I have friends that have 600+ hours...but there's no diffrence between our characters in any way. You could argue that they have 200 hours more experince of the game... but all humans learn things in a diffrent pace?

Yes our plan at present is watch the show and try and get in to the one server and have some fun until either they open a new server or another mmo comes along. We are looking at mortal which is not to far off..too
They need to fix there sh*t so that macroers and speedhacker don't have a massive advantage (loads of work as every single one of the 7 billion skills can be macroed) and then wipe.
It's quite simple really. The sync issues will be fixed today, the guilds that have claimed their city would have captured their city at the same time ANYWAY regardless of the sync problems, infact they would have no doubt taken them sooner!
There is far to much QQing going on at the minute. Atleast the people who bought the game can login and play without 3 hour long queues and server crashes.

WAR = no endgame
Try to be competitive on an MMO such as EQ in a few weeks.

Sorry but cant agree here. For 1 thing this game is not level based so the cap in reality is being in game. Beyond that the question of gold a city or village, crafting, and quite a number of things is based on your guild having a presence from start...
Beyond that a guild crossing many time zones is a big plus as you can have people on 24/7..

The trolls are running out of ammo.
