And every beta tester was saying "buyer beware." So if you are surprised by either of the two "problems" you listed, you have only yourself to blame. Not aventurine.
Im a beta tester and I didnt say buyer beware.
My only beef with Darkfall is that early on you can't create your own "class" with a customized set of skills. Everyone is a clone for quite a while and those who really like to be a caster, or healer get the shaft for a while until they skill up.
As for these recent issues, yes its frustrating but Aventurine will fix it and will no doubt compensate everyone for errors on their part.
The syncing issue from launch day is being fixed now and things will eventually be smooth as they were in beta... yes beta was actually quite smooth in pvp, even when playing on a server on the other side of the planet from my location.
You were in beta and you didn't realize that the game, which was buggy up until they took it down the day before release, was going to be buggy at release?
I'm not saying the launch was good, in fact its rather pissed me off, because due to a few bugs I haven't been able to play for very long, and I just barely got a pre order account activated on time. But as for the people saying they're running in hiding for shutting down the website, this is not true. So many people were logging in and spamming asking when more copies would be available that no one could load the news section, so they set up a customer support page via the account manager, and left the forums as a news board so people could be updated on whats going on. Now, the updates are sparse and there really should be more, but let's not make shit up here.

This is just what I love about Darkfall.
Lately I was getting very bored with other mmos when, for example, I had been playing a melee class for several months in one game and I then felt like I wanted to use my bow to change for some ranged fighting for a little while.
But no way, I was always stuck with 1 preset class and I was always thinking "what's this crap, why can't I start to level some ranged skills" so that the almost useless bow I was using for pulling could actually be used properly. And after several months of leveling 1 char you don't necessarily want to reroll and relevel again for several months just to open up your gameplay a little.
And guess what? Darkfall is now delivering exactly this. Amen.

You aren't serious, are you?
Exactly what part of beta was buggy up until release? Other than a few siege mechanics they changed the last week of beta I can't think of anything that was buggy. Mob AI was running well for the past several weeks. PvP combat was smooth in battles with 50+. Small group PvP was fine.
The month I was in beta had only a few instances where mob AI had problems and they were in the first week I was in beta. The only recent time there was an AI issue was when they basically had it turned off so mobs would not chase. Nothing like what happened yeseterday with the synch issues.
Sure it could have used another month of beta, but so could ever game ever release in the history of gaming. I just wanted the extra free month of playtime myself but have no reservations regarding the two accounts I purchased.

How am I exaggerating? I played DAoC, Shadowbane, WoW, Lineaeg 2, EQ2, Hellgate London, AoC, and DF on release, and they all could hvae used an extra month of work. I played the AC2, Vangard, and Pirates of the Burning Sea betas and knew they were no where near finished so I didn't purchase them.
My only issues with the DF beta is there was no open beta to do a good stress test and we were not allowed to test the high end content like shipts and what I would call real siege mechanics. Everything else was functioning fine for the players that I know.

The OP is correct...There are 2 real problems with the game:
1) Aventurine
2) THe community
You could argue that there are many other problems but these are the two biggest ones facing Darkfall.
The MMORPG community is 1000x worse than the darkfall community.
You should pat yourself back for this amazing accomplishment a reality.
