Please post at what time you got the e-mail. It seems like everyone got theirs at the same time, and it already happened. I did not get one denying, or confirming.
10:58 A.M Central- Email that I had been charged for Darkfall online, I was then immediately able to log into server (even though the game server is down you can still log into a screen that shows that)
Mine came in after the first wave of people posted they got theirs. I would not worry seems like everyone is going to get an email one way or another(fail/pass) I changed from a debit to a CC and mine went through.
got mine about 30 minutes ago and it went through, seems like if you got an email yesterday they will try to hit your card again today.
I had to call capitalone and allow a transaction from europe, it worked. It wasnt aventurines billing company fault its your credit card company if it dont go through a first or even second time.
one charge ok some people got, the second charge failed because the credit card company thinks its fraud. The whole billing system sucks but you gotta call to allow foreign charges. I also heard some europe people had issues because if postalcode not fitting and this should of been looked at again in your account homepage to make sure it was all there.
Got my "Payment successful" email about 15 minutes ago. The only thing I've done since the first attempt, that failed, was to clear the credit card information and enter the same info again.
I suspect that when I somehow managed to get the registration through last Friday, the encrypted card number got stored incorrectly, and so when they decrypted, and sent it it got rejected before being switched out to VISA. The encrypted and masked card numbers are most likely stored separately so they won't have to decrypt and mask every time someone wants to see their account info... so the account info I could see looked fine.
Anyway, that's just a guess, but I know the transaction got rejected at an early validation stage if it got sent, since it never registered at VISA or my bank. The card number is the only thing that might have been different since there's no way to see what they have actually stored, and I know I entered the same info. I used a VISA debit card, by the way, so debit cards do work.
Edit: I was one of those who never got charged for the pre-order by the way. Not a zero charge, just nothing registered at all.

today I get the same message about it not going through. So I called AMEX and told them I was trying to purchase something from a European company, and I received an email from them saying it didn't go through. So I asked if there were any attempts made on my AMEX. They told me there have been none made since the 25th.
So basically Aventurine is lying to me, and probaly many others!
