    hahahaha

    LAG WAR GALAXIES HAHAHA.

    Not funny.

FFXI doesnt lag for me and Im on minimal system requirements. However I have a DSL connection speed so I may never know. But yeah, it doesnt lag. You should seriously reconsider buying this game though.

To answer your question yes FFXI does lag but when it lags it has so many things going on its hard to tell whether you lag.  The only thing that will lag is when you encounter monsters I once chased an orc about half a mile before I finally hit it because I lagged behind it and on the server it was on the other side of the mapimage.  It can be your connection that causes lag but if you have TI1 or any other really fast connection you shouldn't worry about lagging.image

It doesnt lag to me because my new comp has more than the recomended requirements and I have DSL.

However even on my old crapping HP computer (which just barely met the minimum requirements with a Radeon 9000 video card), I never felt any lag except maybe the slighest lag in movement when I get near the people at the Jeuno AH.

The only time I ever lagged was at lower jeuno Action House where you could have close to 100 people all clusters around 1 area standing around. But outside of that I never experienced lag unless there was something wrong with my connection.

Everyone in the US lags, just they don't notice it.      They did a good job on keeping your pc from lagging.  If there are too many people in one spot   it will make some invisable.   You can notice this in jeuno  when you look at your radar and see all the blue dots in areas where there isnt people.

You will notice the lag when you are competing with the Japanese players for rare mobs or other creatures that are spawning.    Also a little when you unsheath your weapon.    They have a good advantage over the US players when something like leaping lizzy spawns.

SWG lagged your machine, when running through places like Theed... simular to AO's lag.   Never had that at all with FFXI.

You asekd the question,"Does FFXI lag alot?" Well the answer to that question is different for everyone who plays it.If you have a crappy connection, then YES, it's going to lag.I have a cable connection so it's never lagged for me.imageIf ypu said that Star Wars Galaxies lagged(when that's on your comp)then i wpuld say that FFXI is going to lag for you.
