two things i'm wondering if exist in these games

 Hey all,

Just wondering if there are any free games with legitimate stealth capabilities. Also, curious but maybe not as important games with multiple weapon options.

I keep alternating between Last Chaos, Guild Wars, and Archlord.

Last Chaos is cool in that I meet ppl and I've played it long enough to have an understanding of how to do it, but it takes very very long and there's virtually zero customization.

Guild Wars is a great game prolly the best I've played but I kinda want to do something else for a bit... If Last Chaos is too long, Guild Wars is too short.

Archlord is what I'm thinking of going back to for a bit. It's the only game I know of offhand that u can use a halberd. LOL Archlord takes a long time as well, but the main problems with it are that it seems like it drains u of money and I don't think there are permanent pets and pvp isn't til lvl 31 and all that lol.

All 3 of those are good games but i'm looking for something else for a bit. I remembered that my favorite video games are often times ones with stealth so I'm hoping for some legit stealth. Last Chaos has invisibility for rogues which is cool but it takes til lvl 30 and if u have any brains u spend ur first month or so sp (Skill point) farming at this one temple. By the time u are done, ur bored of the game and want to quit :p

Im not huge into pvp so it's not necessarily a big deal, although I kinda like pvp on occasion. I like something between a freebee and a grind. lol. Like i said Guild Wars is too short and Last Chaos is too long.

The other thing was some customization. Guild Wars is decent at that. Last Chaos is not at all. You get the choice of two dual classes for each character class (ex. rogues can be assasins or rangers) and each class has only one weapon for your entire time as that toon. (ex. assasins use daggers, rangers use crossbows)

So main two issues i'm looking at now are stealth and options... if u could mention one with some grind but not a ton, that would be sweet. Idk if i'm saying any of this right or not but i'm tired and don't want to spend the time to be more explanatory thanks yaal.

    Hey,

lol Darkfall pretty much has the forms taken over right now, and just about everyone that is online is discusses that game rather then anything else.

Anyways, Pay to Play games are far better then just about any Free to Play games out.

as far as what you have experienced i would say guild wars is one i can relate to the most. I've played that quite a bit. and if you like that kind of gameplay, then you won't really find that in any other F2P game, but rather in P2P's

as far as your stealth interest is concerned. you may want to check out Warhammer Online, it's not really all that stealthy, unless you play a melee Damage per second class, but it is highly PvP oriented and requires Tactical, large group based pvp. so that woul be my suggestion to you.

other good P2P games out atm are: Lord of the Rings online, World of Warcraft, Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, Dark age of Camelot (despite the low numbers of players, PVP in this game is about the best there is)   those are the ones i have enjoyed.... i don't really wanna get into detail on them all

Free to play games i've enjoyed: Fiesta Online was probably my favorite, Shaiya was decent, RF online was good, and FlyFF was ok.

so those are some games you may want to check out,

If you want to be "stealthy"   my suggestions is going with a P2P game such as WoW, AoC, or WAR and creating a melee DPS charecter. On WoW they are called Rogues, AoC they are assasins, and WAR there are Witch Hunters and Witch elves.

These classes have the ability to become invisible, or even blend, they sneak around and get near there target and unleash high amounts of damage, using combo moves. its quite fun.

Age of Conan's stealth system is great from experience.

    Or.

Team Fortress 2. Play a spy.

Try the DDO trial, all classes can stealth properly as long as you invest points in Hide and Move SIlently skills. Mobs can detect you by seeing, hearing or vibration (Spiders, Slimes) and your visibility also changes by how well lit the area is.

You have to invest points in Spot and/or Hearing to stop mobs stealthing you.
