    I tried this game, and the concept was great but the world was empty and the game didn't feel 100%, but yes, I would suggest giving it a shot, if only for the dragon class =)

    My I ask what server? How did you mean empty? Player or mob empty?

    have they fixed the vista problem yet? I did want to give the game a try...but it didn't run on vista.

    Not yet. They are working on it but it is something deep in the code from one of the long threads about it.

    No fixes specificly but some people are able to play on vista.

    I totally suggest trying this game... I am on Vista and did find a work around for it... do a search on thier forums and you may find a fix for vista... now back to suggesting this game... this game is very challenging.. it is not for everyone...  where else can you become a DRAGON and that is your toon?? this game is abit older but the complexity is what ALL mmo's should aspire to be... Chaos real is the one im on  now and for that vista problem, the new company  Virtrium is working sooo hard to fix this..  they ahve done an ouitstanding job with other fixes and  such... yes i am sending this advertisement for this game...  i have NEVER found a better community...   2 weeks free to try it out   what have you got to lose...  anyway  thesea re my thoughts and am enjoying this and it brings back the days when mmo's were challenging and fun!!!    cya:)   my dragons name is Octane....   Kwosh

    They have a vista fix that they are asking people to test. It is not a workaround but a soon to be pushed to blight official test. They want to see if it works and if it causes any problems first.

    I can truely say I am amazed that more people are not playing this game... perhaps when they do get the vista challenge out of the way  more may try this great game..  but in todays market (maybe i am glad about this) more people seem to be geared towards the FPS type of game, fast paced shootum up, punching buttons lack a skill , sorta game... this IS truely a thinking mans (or ladies) MMO   and massive truely applies here....

    I doubt incompatibility with Vista would keep many people away from any game. And I can't imagine playing Istaria (a resource-hog of a game) on Vista (a mega resource-hog).

    *shudder*

    While I think the game has a lot to recommend it, the graphics are out-dated and the community is fairly small compared to most other mmos - I can understand why skeaser said it felt empty.

    It's always going to be a game that will appeal to a small minority of mmo'ers in a market with an increasing number of mmos to choose from.
