[rant] How do I leave the new nub area?

How do I get out of the craporeum that is the new nub area?

Not that I don't enjoy paying to be denied access to the rest of the game but I don't fancy rolling a tank just to do something that's the old nub area recycled.

If you have finished Misery's Peak once, you can choose "Skip Tutorial" when you meet the rogue on the beach.. this will send you to "Sunny Korthos."

PS: I think that option is there too if you have finished the old Wavecrest.

Or if you finished Misery's Peak in Khorthos Island, talk to the captain and/or that person on a rock on the left side of the beach. You must talk to that person on the rock twice, if I reckon well, and then off you go to the captain who'll take you to Stormreach Harbor.

    Thanks,

Someone helped me to complete them in-game in the end.

I wish turbine would stop making so much content for the first 4 hours of the game and start adding mid-level content the parts where we have to repeatedly grind the same areas for a week.

There's tons of mid-game content.. you just have to coax people to play something other than WW-STk-Deleras-VONs... put up  LFMs and go see the world..

Wow, you needed help to complete those!?!

I think it took me 2 hours maximum to complete the entire Korthos Island series of quests the first time through them; only have to do it once.  There are a total of 6 new additions to the game that no one has ever seen before so I find it odd someone would alledge this is old content.

The quests in the starter area can easily be solo'd.

Now now.. think back before you'd put a thousand hours into this game (or thousands).. also I have to say the 'protect the crystal' quest bugs me when I solo.. the crystal shatters way to easily..

Even after playing the game for a few weeks, my wizard simply couldn't complete even the easiest of quests without help or twinking. Might have had something to do with that 8 constitution though!

i'm sorry, Moorewr is right about that damned crystal which I completely forgot about.  The thing seems possible to be one-shotted by those mobs and I now recall a little bit of frustration the first time I played it.  Other then that, I thought everything else was easy, but as you point out it's very likely due to already having a firm grasp of the game's mechanics.

For the record, I just got my second character (Cleric) to level 16 last night although I'm 2 ranks from capping it. ;)

OP, you have some treats in store for you.  There are some quests which are a total pain in the ass yet can be a hell of a lot of fun.  May I suggest running The Pit once you hit level 6-8, but if you do could you please create a thread about it?  :D
