Pre-order people update please

Did everyone who had their pre-order screwed up get it fixed yet? Is that problem out of the way now?

    the only people who preordered and didnt get in were the stupid people who didnt call their back to accept the charge but yah this stage is completly over

    Here's hoping they fix the issues really soon. Being able to finally make my long awaited order would be wonderful.

    Given that the pre-order problems are officially done, and the servers are up and patched and there's no more sync issue...what's holding them up on new sales?

    dude the pre-order fk ups are not fixed, they said they are working on it, but we have had no update since. My issue has not been resolved anyway. Maybe others have?

    What are you talking about? I called my bank and they told me there wasn't any kind of filter for online transactions, or any attempt at all to charge anything. I had the pre order when they first appeared and i tried 2 diferent cards (credit and debit) from 2 diferent banks, both failed but my billing info was correct. I used the same card for AoC, Lotro or FFXI. Their billing system sucks that's all, i never experienced anything simillar.

    did you make an account during beta preorder or normal preorder (alot of acounts during beta preorder  were bugged, including mine adn i didnt get a preorder, i made a new account and now im n ot getting any errors on their website)

     

     

     

    but if you read all their updates they are done trying to get the preorder people in

    ya.. i have gotten two charges to my cc for the game.. (3 dollars for what i dont know) so i know that aspect of the problem works. I got email and acct stating that preorder was ok.. and i still am waiting. Credit card co. is or hasnt seen any request. So no.. still same situation as of 3 days ago. cant patch from the original download./torrent..

    looks like a fun game but maybe its for the best anyways.. lol..

    I don't really know, the link was made public and been 8 hours refreshing a damn page, then i got an e-mail saying i got the pre order, but that transaction never happened on the bank account.

    And about getting pre order ppl on...Seems after my second billing attempt failed i have no longer a pre order, so they have screwed me well. Seriously i used my card yesterday to buy something online, got charged instantly, i really don't understand what's so dificult about.

    credit cards automatically take actions to keep fraudulent charges off. If you live in USA, and 2 charges are coming in greece, they usually block the second one. it's their money anyway. either way, they should have notified you, or you them.

    This is true, and I would assume this is a very few users problem.

    However, there are people that actually did call their credit card company, and it still fails. Then they change cards and billing information to someone's who successfully went through and are playing , and then that fails the second attempt... you have to wonder if it's an account issue.

    We're looking into some user reports about getting an account not active message. We suspect this is a problem with the account management.     I had pre order problem of 3 charges and then got the e-mail of failed cc the next day.  I went to account page and entered a different cc and submitted a ticket to customer service telling them.  Two hours later two e-mails.  Account active.

    Oh, shit...I missed that part about the account not active, I thought that was resolved like two days ago...god damnit.

    Exact same story here. Used two different types of cards. Info was correct. Called and had no attempts to charge on either.

     

    Now when I check the "backorder" page it no longer says successful preorder

    I did something similar to this too, except when I changed my CC it was changed to the billing info/CC information of someone who's successfully worked the first time and is playing. It still failed when they attempted to do my account. It's more to do with accounts than with CC for some people.

    Mine's still fucked. First day beta tester pre-order, no attempts made to charge my bank, in spite of Aventurine saying that the "transactions failed".

     

    Send two e-mails explaining the situation, have changed my billing AND personal details, no response in 20 hours.

    19/02/2009 @11pm - "Your Darkfall preorder was successful!"
    26/02/2009 @11pm - "During the preorder of Darkfall, your credit card transacton failed."

    Ahh, classic Tasos!

    I pre-ordered on the 20th (account created on the 19th) and was charged the initial 2.52euro fee, since then I have called my bank on thursday (26th) friday (27th) and today (28th) and there has no been no second ATTEMPT to charge me, plus I have gotten 0 emails from them about a failed attempt even.  Tried emailing support 3 times now, still no response.

    I wish there was some form of activate account button.. as I ordered a new CC just for this problem, and I have no clue if they are going to attempt to process it again, or if it's just fucked.
